Passing on and persevering in the legacies of faith and the word are crucial because the dangers of sin, deception, and persecution will exist as long as Jesus delays His return to the earth.

Philippians 2:1–11 | We value community because it portrays the gospel as we together imitate the humility of Christ in the way we treat one another.

Philippians 1:27–30 | We value community because it proclaims the gospel as we together strive for faith and courageously endure opposition.

1 Peter 5:1–5 | We value leadership because God sovereignly appoints shepherds and entrusts His sheep to them for the eternal good of His church.

Ephesians 3:1–13 | God displays the greatness of His wisdom in the way He designed history: to make those from all nations full members of His family by grace alone through faith alone in His Son alone. Therefore, we value missions because gathering all peoples under the gracious Kingship of His Son is at the center of God's heart.

John 8:30–37 | We value discipleship and evangelism because they are the exclusive means humanity has for knowing the truth and being free from sin.

Philippians 4:6–7 | We value prayer because it is a humble, worshipful, and relational act that overcomes anxiety and gives us God's powerful, protecting peace.

Psalm 96 | Worshiping God means praising Him for who He is and for what He does. We value doing this at ekklesia because He is a great God worthy of the greatest praises we have to give.
