It was the final weekend of the Spanish Segunda season and we're delighted to bring you our first report from the Spanish second tier! We join Luke Chambers as he heads to watch his beloved Malaga Club de Futbol take on Burgos at La Rosaleda on Saturday evening. Both of these sides have secured safety already but there will be a party atmosphere in La Rosaleda, with a chance to celebrate staying up and a chance to say goodbye to a few Malagueno Heroes from this season.

In our second series on the podcast, we are looking into a brilliant time for Spanish Football - specifically, in the Copa del Rey. During 1999 and 2009, the Copa del Rey refused to be dominated by the Galaticos of Real Madrid and the dominant force of Barcelona - instead, it gave us some of the most fascinating finals and ultimately some brilliant winners who had waited years if not decades to achieve silverware.

The first final we look at is the barn stormer between Espanyol and Real Zaragoza in 2006, where both sides had incredible runs to the showpiece final but where the winner would go on to have the most incredible European run.

The regular season is over but the fun is just beginning in Primera RFEF. Cultural Leonesa have been crowned Grupo 1 Champions and will play in the Spanish Segunda next season along with Ceuta but the best of the rest will have to navigate the play-offs for theie chance to join them. We also lost clubs this weekend in dramatic fashion with the likes of Yeclano and Sestao still alive within the last 10 minutes of action on Saturday. We also look ahead to those 4 play-off games, which start this weekend and who we think stands the best chance of promotion!

It's the final jornada of the Primera RFEF season and Marbella find themselves looking at an immediate return down El Pozo to Segunda RFEF.
