Su obra escrita más conocida; un tratado sobre técnica, estrategia y filosofía militar y de combate. En 1645, una semana antes de su fallecimiento escribe el DOKKODO, LA VIDA DEL CAMINO SOLITARIO.

En la actualidad, sus 21 principios han sido valorados dentro del estoicismo, y su práctica puede ayudar a lidiar con mayor certeza las situaciones del día a día.
