Electrical activity observed in the dying brain

Researchers observed the cardiac and neural signals from a small number of ICU patients at the point when ventilatory support was withdrawn. The EEC and EKG monitors recorded the quite new phenomena of electrical activity in a particular area of the brain. It leads to greater speculation about what happens to the brain as we die, and the need for more investigation.
