E.M.C. atmospheres #119 - Absis

Sound engineer, DJ & producer based in Barcelona, Spain, @absis_music is renowned for his experimentations in the reals of techno, ambient, and electronic music. Being a regular in the music scene since the late 90s, performing at events like The Loft (Razzmatazz) and @sonarfestival and @mostrabcn , his performances always reveal something unexpected and innovative. For this occasion we are glad to share with you his live set recorded during DIGIT_01

In Vitro has been involved in music for two decades, above all as a music lover, this enthusiasm has led him to compose, play, mix, broadcast, diffuse and write about music of a wide range of styles. Between 2008 and 2018, he also acted as the founder, curator and A&R for @breathe Compilations. His recent music has been published by Soundsphere, @deep_electronic , Polysphere, among others. He has also a long tradition releasing mixtapes and mindscapes for Deep Electronics, @dubtechnotv , Mixotic, @piranha-siberia DUBBISM, @feeder-sound and other quality music channels.

Passwar D is an alien frequency who fell to Earth, fascinated by the depth of human emotion and experience. Wired through imagination, the entity decodes the signals of being in sound, shape shifting leftfield psychedelia and ambient into hybrid forms of techno. Moving between live performance, DJ sets, and sound installation, Passwar D crafts responsive rituals tuned to space, presence, and transformation. Releases on @diffusereality , DJSD, and fringe imprints trace an evolving sonic language, emotional, textural, and post-club. From underground floors like @teorema-1 Festival Barcelona to Frieze London, each set unfolds as a living organism: alive to feeling, tuned to change.

Eclektic is the ambient and downtempo project of Zurich-based artist Dani Stucki. Blending electronic music with a deep connection to nature, his sound merges evolving synth textures, organic field recordings, and subtle beats — a sonic space where stillness meets movement.

Rooted in classical guitar and shaped by a lifelong love for both music and the natural world, Dani naturally gravitated toward slower, more introspective forms of electronic music. What began as experimentation became a signature style: immersive, emotional, and grounded in organic soundscapes.

As Eclektic, he has released three albums, several EPs, and remixes on labels including @sofa-beats-1 ( @ibogarecords ), and has performed live at renowned festivals including @boomfestival , @hadratrancefestival , @ozora-festival and Sun. His Live sets invite listeners on meditative journeys — deep, atmospheric, and ever-evolving.

Deeply influenced by the raw energy and rhythmic complexity of Detroit techno, he weaves its pioneering spirit into his sets, celebrating its legacy while exploring new frontiers of electronic music.

Now, as part of the Berlin-based explorative label @futurepastnosenseoftime , Mogus draws on his years of experience as a promoter and DJ, contributing his distinctive musical perspective and curatorial expertise to the label’s innovative and boundary-pushing vision.

Welcome to episode #114 - Enkō

DJ and producer based in Lisbon, Portugal, Marcos Ferreira is an explorer of ambience and rhythm driven by an incessant quest for immersion and fluidity. In the half-decade he spent studying music technology and sound design in Leeds, UK, Marcos developed and finessed as a sound artist. After collaborations with various festivals and events such as Latitude, Leeds Festival, and SHHH_IFT, he established several new projects in Lisbon, including the OBRA, cult party SUMMA, and techno label @hayescollective . Enkō is an explorer of experimental sounds as well, with his Ocaso series being a reference point for many artists and ambient music lovers.

Brussels-based producer and DJ with Irish roots, Dylan Thomas is known for crafting immersive, genre-defying electronic music. His sound blends elements of ambient, techno, and experimental electronics, always guided by a strong conceptual drive and an instinct for emotional depth. His debut LP, We Don’t Own, We Create, released on the forward-thinking label @futurepastnosenseoftime , captures his philosophy as both a musician and a creator: resisting rigid definitions in favor of constant evolution and sonic exploration.

Dylan has built a solid presence in the Belgian underground scene, with performances at iconic venues such as @fusebrussels and @c12brussels . Whether through his productions or his DJ sets, he invites listeners into a soundscape that is hypnotic, textured, and always in motion.

Sonic experiments derived from syncopated rhythms, intricately crafted ambiences, and patiently evolving textures, Pattrn’s work as a producer is rooted to the perception of time and space. Playing violin since the age of four and later on majoring in both acousmatic music composition and sound engineering, Pattrn’s precision is the fruit of a lifelong dedication to music of all forms, from creation in itself or through his implications in Brussels’ scene.

Beyond the years of technical know-how and self improvement in production, DJing, and live sets, Brice Deloose aka Pattrn has been an active member of the local scene for quite some time. Co-creator of FTRSND, Brussels By Night Federation, @initiate_concept , as well as having been the artistic director of @fuse-club , Pattrn has spent much of his time promoting local artists and collectives to push forward Brussels' underground.

Having shared the decks with the likes of @luke-slater , @luigitozzi , @claudioprc , @kangding-ray , @svrecaofficial , and many more, Pattrn uses his sets to impose his world of seamless hypnotic music to lure passionates for always one last dance.

Berlin-based Iranian DJ, producer, and sound engineer, Samo Rane is the founder of @mercyTechno, an international techno label and podcast series with over 300 mix releases. Each of Samo's releases carry a strong message in support of human rights, being a platform for social and political commentary. Having witnessed severe injustices in his home country, Samo channels his artistic energy into raising awareness about human rights issues. He is particularly committed to advocating for the freedom and equality of LGBTQIA and FLINTA communities, as well as showing solidarity with refugees. His work stands as a powerful statement for justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Samo Rane is also resident Dj by Berliner Party and Event's series @art-bei-ton since 2019, and he is also one the selected artist's from Berliner Electronic music platform @novafuture.

Here some words from Samo about his mix: "This mix is a journey through light and shadow. Soft, deep sounds flow together. sometimes peaceful, sometimes full of tension. You can hear love and anger, but also the strength that rises when love resists hate. It’s a message without words. A slow, emotional trip through the universe into its deepest and highest places. Bernstein is the vision and music project by Matthias Smith, a young creative mind from Switzerland. Currently living in Berlin, Bernstein aims at luring the audience into his vortex of never-ending colours, spherical streams and atmospheres. His sound palette exceeds the standardized deep house and techno sounds by finding timbres and textures through experimental approaches. Appearing on renowned labels such as Hyalin records, @accentsrecords , @lokdbasel , and @aperturemx . Here some words by Matthias describing this exclusive ambient mix he recorded for us.

"This mixtape is a sonic journey through a nocturnal, dreamlike landscape. I spun a web around the track selection using my own field recordings from India that I made a year ago and also used for my latest album ‘tirtha’ released on @hyalinrecords . I wanted to build oneiric layers of sound, all based on a meditative focal point and hypnotic pulsations"
