Robin Williams, Thank You!

Robin Williams did suffer from chronic depression and substance abuse problems over the decades but this did not contribute to his death.  It was not until later it was learned that Robin was suffering from a degenerative brain disease, Lewy body dementia.

Susan Schneider, William’s widow, has given us precious insight into how this disease entered into Robin’s life and led to his death in a documentary called Robin’s Wish. 

Robin was a gift and words can never express the true appreciation of what he has given the world.

There are few things in life that bring people together worldwide, music is at the top of this list.  It shapes us in so many different ways and is always with us in our times of need.  It is not uncommon to go to a  sporting event and hear Metallica's “Enter Sandman” or Queen’s “We are the Champions”.  

It helps us to enjoy our relationships together. Every couple will have that wedding song to be shared with family and friends etching a special memory into stone for life.

Music helps us to find solace, happiness and joy in our lives.  Inadvertently our very own soundtrack is created. We challenge you, as you listen to this episode, to define yours.
