How how are we supposed to step into the very thing that Jesus commands us to do -- Go and make disciples? What if Christianity is so much more than just the Sunday gathering?Discipleship is truly learning and knowing what it means to walk every single day with Jesus. Our hope for you is that you would get a framework today to walk away with, to know how easy and accessible it is to step into the Great Commission; that you would give your life to seeing the Great Commission fulfilled in our day.1 You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, 2 and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. 3 Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him. 5 An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. 6 It is the hard-working farmer who ought to have the first share of the crops. 7 Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.8 Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel, 9 for which I am suffering, bound with chains as a criminal. But the word of God is not bound! 10 Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 The saying is trustworthy, for:If we have died with him, we will also live with him;12 if we endure, we will also reign with him;if we deny him, he also will deny us;13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself.2 Timothy 2:1-13We'd love for you to subscribe to our channel and turn on notifications to get updates on our latest content and resources that will help more people know Jesus and people know Jesus more.GIVE : We believe that generosity is golden. Hearing the voice of God is the most significant task of all Christian discipleship. The beautiful, brilliant, powerful sound of God brings light into the cosmos, the sun, the moon and the stars. Not only does God speak, but when He speaks, the impossible becomes possible and logic gets defied. God's words in and of themselves contain everything that is needed for everything. The problem today is not that God is on mute, muzzled, shy and introverted, it is that we are busy, hurried, rush, distracted and got our headphones in. 14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. 17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.”John 10:14-18We'd love for you to subscribe to our channel and turn on notifications to get updates on our latest content and resources that will help more people know Jesus and people know Jesus more.GIVE : We believe that generosity is golden. Have you ever wondered, is it always going to be like this?

Or am I always going to be like this? Why do things like this keep happening to me? Why did God make me like this?

You feel not good enough, stuck, in-between, not who you were but no who you want to be.

Do you know what it feels like to settle into that space and to have these moments where you drive yourself to work, or you lie in bed at night staring at the ceiling fan, thinking, I guess this is just how it's going to be. I guess this is just who I am.

There is a way out of the loop. There is a you, just by faith, believe this, that that is beyond what you can see, a you that is more glorious than you can see.

A you that is more whole and at peace and alive, loving, forgiving, kind, humble, patient, in love with the word and out of love with the world and over yourself.

The way to the real you; it's found in the Jesus Stuff.

"If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is your[a] life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

5 Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 On account of these the wrath of God is coming.7 In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. 8 But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self[d] with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. 11 Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.

12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

Colossians 3:1-17

The question today is not whether or not you're being discipled, it's who you're being discipled by.

There are spiritual realities that are fighting for your attention, your affection, and your formation.

We stagnate, we drift, we get off course, we pick up bad habits and broken religious mindsets, and we begin to add new ageism to our faith. And we confuse worldly wisdom with biblical revelation. And without even knowing it, we baptize the ways of the world into the church, and we end up in this very spiritually distorted, confused, unhealthy, lethargic, unengaged, unsaved, spiritually aware kind of place.

Are you being formed and grown and matured and chiseled and shaped into the person of Jesus, or the world?

When you close your eyes and picture God, what do you see?

When you think about the divine, supreme, immortal, eternal, all powerful, self-existent God who the Bible calls spirit and who by nature is invisible, what do you imagine?

Until Jesus becomes not just a religious teacher, but the architect of the universe, the king of the cosmos, your very vision of the divine, Jesus stuff will be a nice idea or an interesting thought, but not the reason that you're alive.

Seeing, enjoying, savoring, worshiping, adoring Jesus as God is the Jesus stuff. An obsession with Jesus is the Jesus stuff.

You will never live a life surrendered to the Jesus stuff, which is the stuff that you were created for, is the stuff that you long for.

What if you lived every day as if getting the message of Jesus in front of people who don't know it yet is actually the primary reason that you're still on the planet?

The Jesus stuff is telling the Jesus story, even when it means suffering like Jesus.

There are people all over the world, as well as some in this city, who have never seen the afflictions of Jesus. Never heard the good news.

Perhaps the most asked question in Christian circles goes something like this -- What's God's will for my life?

Am I where I'm supposed to be? Am I dating who I'm supposed to be? Did I buy the right house? Did I buy the right car? Am I living in the right state? Am I going on the right missions trip? What is God's will for my life? And this becomes such a buzzing question in Christian circles that there starts to develop a level of almost unhealthy anxiety about missing God's will for my life.

So what's His will for your life?

Bear fruit, do good stuff, get to know God more.

Could it be that one of the things that keep churches from flourishing and thriving is that we've invented a form of Christianity without Christ? We've turned following Jesus into an event where we sing a lot of Jesus songs, but do very little of the Jesus stuff.

The life that you long for, are desperate for, is a life lived where you do the Jesus stuff.
