Your style was never lost. It evolved.
In this personal episode of Élever with Mama Kesh, I take you through my own 6 phases — teenage years, early 20s, after my life-changing accident, motherhood, corporate, and now dressing through my filters everyday — to show you what stayed true and what had to grow. If you are asking about personal style , how to find your style , or style identity , start here: don’t ask “what was I thinking?” Ask “what has always been there?”
IN THIS EPISODE:
I share how clothes reveal what you think about yourself in every season, and why authenticity means your visual expression matches the woman you are even as you evolve.
My 6 phases:
1. Teenage Me: I cared about the whole look — bag, shoes, jewelry, hair. An outfit was a presentation. I was experimenting with music, movies, culture and magazines, asking “who am I allowed to be and where do I belong?”
2. Early 20s: My love for presence and accessories stayed. I wanted to feel complete, with fitted clothes, heels, drama and silhouette. At 20, presence meant “look at me.”
3. After My Accident: The turning point. A car crash that nearly took my life took me from heels to a wheelchair. Looking at my heels in the corner, I vowed to get back into them — not from vanity, but because they represented recognition. That season forced the question: what kind of woman do I want to be recognized as? My answer became clear: polished, feminine, grounded, presence.
4. Motherhood: My body, schedule, and time changed. My old formula no longer worked. But polish, presence, and finishing details stayed — heels just had to work differently. A new role doesn’t mean abandoning the woman underneath.
5. Corporate Me: I added authority, structure, and precision. I share the executive lounge story — when I was dressed so intentionally I was mistaken for a VP. Dress how you want to be addressed. That is just the truth.
6. Now - My Filters Everyday: The core of Kesh is still recognizable. I no longer dress for “am I classy, am I elegant?” I dress through my filters: Presence, Intentional Details, Completion, and Intentional Femininity.
YOUR 4 STYLE CODES THAT NEVER CHANGED:
* Presence — how you enter a space
* Accessories — shoes, bag, jewelry, lip, hair that turn clothes into looks
* Completion — nothing feels missing
* Intentional Femininity — lace, crepe, satin, softness even in structured looks
Try this for yourself: What keeps repeating? What feeling are you constantly trying to recreate? What changed because you matured — not because the old you was wrong?
Let me know in the comments: What is your one-word constant? And which phase are you in right now — Teen, 20s, Defining, Motherhood, Corporate, or Filtering?

I don’t believe building a Capsule Wardrobe is the solution to finding Personal Style.
Polish without personality is just a uniform. In this episode of Élever with Mama Kesh — where style, truth, and soul come together — I break down why a capsule wardrobe and clean girl aesthetics can’t teach you proportions, taste, or identity, and what actually will.
A capsule is an editing system, not a style discovery system. You cannot edit your wardrobe down to its essence before you have even met your essence. Stop editing yourself before you’ve had the freedom to meet you.
You’ll learn why owning fewer clothes doesn’t make you stylish, the 5 capsule principles to use AFTER discovery, and the 3 things that actually create personal style : self-knowledge, experimentation, and intentional repetition.
If you followed the list, bought the neutrals, and still feel boring in your own closet — this is for you. Let’s break it down and learn how to be stylish without shrinking yourself.
Are you Team Fewer Clothes or Team Clearer Identity? Let me know in the comments — plus your 3 feel-words for cohesion.

If you have a full closet but still don’t feel connected to yourself — this is for you. This isn’t about fabric. Style is identity. It’s language. It’s presence. And if your clothes no longer reflect who you are becoming, this full guide will help you return to self.
This 45-minute film is for the woman who has become invisible in her own life. The woman who is tired of disappearing. Who is ready to stop dressing to be approved — and start dressing to express. It’s just the truth.
But how did we really get here? Let’s break it down.
WATCH IN CHAPTERS:
00:00 Hook: The Woman Who Feels Invisible In Her Own Closet
02:45 Chapter 1: Becoming — Going Back to Self
08:30 Chapter 2: Clothes & Identity — What Your Clothes Are Really Saying
17:30 Chapter 3: Closet Ghosts — Name It & Release The Ghost
25:45 Chapter 4: The Comfort Trap — Why You Stay Stuck
32:30 Chapter 5: The Mirror Moment — How You Elevate
38:45 Chapter 6: The Return — An Invitation Back to Self
INSIDE THIS FULL GUIDE:
Chapter 1: Becoming My story of realizing style isn’t superficial — it’s the story you tell about yourself long before you say a single word. How identity, insecurity, environment, and how you want to be perceived shape what your brain chooses to wear every morning.
Chapter 2: Clothes & Identity — The 5 Wardrobe Personalities Which one resonates most? Leave a number 1-5 in the comments — I read every one.
* The Hider — Full of big, boxy, shapeless pieces that sit away from your body. You’ve traded style for armor because it feels safer not to be seen.
* The Borrowed Woman — Designer bags, logo pieces, brand names on display. When you take the logos away, the outfit deflates. Confidence outsourced to labels.
* The Time Traveler — Your closet looks like a museum. You’re holding onto past versions of yourself, stuck between who you were and who you are becoming.
* The Approval Seeker — Your wardrobe follows every trend, not because you love them, but because it feels safe. You dress for external validation.
* The Woman In Between — A little bit of everything. You know who you are NOT, but not yet who you are. You’re the most ready for what’s next.
How much of your style is really yours? How much is what you’ve been told looks good on you, what’s trending, or what feels acceptable?
Chapter 3: Closet Ghosts — The 3 Ghosts Hiding in Your Closet You will do a release ceremony with this question: Does the new version of myself, if she walked into this place right now, would she actually wear these things?
* The Just In Case Ghost — That blazer you’ve kept for years because it gives you “corporate edge” — do you really need it?
* The Body Shame Ghost — That denim you keep saying “when I lose 10 pounds, this will bang on me” — creating daily self-criticism.
* The Invisible Ghost — Safe colors, neutral pieces you bought to blend in and shrink your presence because you didn’t want to feel too much.
Name it, and release the ghost.
Chapter 4: The Comfort Trap Why staying where you are feels safer than evolving — even when it hurts. Fear keeps you in shapeless, logoless, trendless safety. This is the quietest form of self-abandonment. Alignment builds confidence, confidence builds clarity, and clarity helps you identify your new style.
Chapter 5: The Mirror Moment The moment your reflection feels like a stranger is not failure — it’s cognitive dissonance. Your inner evolution has outpaced your outer expression. Style is psychology, it’s confidence, it’s healing, it’s self-expression.
Chapter 6: The Return — An Invitation Back to Self My goal isn’t to help you become someone else. My goal is to help you return to self. The real glow up is not becoming someone new. It’s becoming someone who fully expresses themselves.
YOUR 4 STEPS TO SHIFT YOUR STYLE IDENTITY:
* Acknowledge the friction — it’s misalignment, not confusion.
* Identify the person you have outgrown.
* Define the woman you are now becoming — in just 3 words. (e.g., grounded, refined, visible)
* Make ONE alignment shift at a time.
I do not want my style to become another identity you borrow. I want to give you permission to uncover your own style.
LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS: Which Wardrobe Personality are you (1-5)? Which Closet Ghost do you need to release first? Drop a comment and we shall go on a step-by-step basis.
Choose yourself. Choose your peace. Choose your growth. Choose the version of you that is still learning, still healing, still trying, and still dreaming. If you’re ready to go back to self, you’re in the right place.

Would you pop the balloon over bad shoes? 👠🎈
Ladies, let’s be honest. On Pop the Balloon or on a first date, we can decide in 3 seconds that a man isn’t our type because his suit doesn’t fit quite right or his shoes are wrong. We call it “having standards” — but are we protecting our peace or are we BLOCKING OUR BLESSINGS?
In this Style, Story & Soul dating deep-dive, I break down why we weaponize style to make snap judgments, and how to read his style with DISCERNMENT instead of dismissal.
LET’S BREAK IT DOWN. 👇
IN THIS VIDEO, YOU’LL LEARN:
* Why style CAN give you data but should never be the final verdict (thin-slicing vs. truth)
* The difference between EFFORT vs. OUTFIT — what his intention tells you that his tailoring can’t
* The 3-Date Rule: How to observe behavioral patterns before you pop the balloon
* How to tell if his look is “don’t know how” vs. “don’t care” — and why it matters
Remember: It’s not about the shoes. It’s about intention. Just like we teach with the Mirror Moment — your dating lens reflects your own healing.
This is especially for my women navigating dating after 40, dating over 50, and those who are tired of letting a first impression cost them a real connection. Please do yourself a favor — watch this before your next date.

Luxury isn’t rare anymore — taste is. In a world where everyone can buy the bag, rent the designer dress, and order the dupe in 10 days, why do so few women look luxurious after 50?
In this episode of Élever with Mama Kesh, we unpack why quiet luxury and luxury minimalism aren’t about price tags — they’re about taste. If your closet is full but you still feel disconnected from your style, this is why.
True luxury used to mean rarity. Now it’s accessible to everyone. Taste is different. Taste is self-knowledge. It’s knowing what truly belongs to you, discerning what to keep, and having the courage to release what no longer serves the woman you are becoming. You cannot buy it — you have to become still enough to recognize it.
This isn’t about knowing what’s expensive. It’s about knowing what is yours.
IN THIS EPISODE — THE 5 LAWS OF TASTE:
1. Taste is restraint, not accumulation — The confidence to recognize what belongs to you and reject what doesn’t, instead of accumulating out of anxiety.
2. Taste is editing, not expense — Stop asking “is it designer?” Start asking “is it decisive? Does it flatter me, support my life, and communicate who I am becoming?”
3. Taste is uniqueness married to authenticity — Real taste emerges when your unique qualities align with your authentic self — not when you dress to avoid judgment.
4. Taste is consistency, not novelty — Knowing what’s worth repeating and building a recognizable style identity, instead of chasing every new trend out of identity anxiety.
5. Taste is story, not status — Dress to reveal who you have become, not to impress strangers or prove your worth.
So let me ask you — do you have taste, or do you just do luxury shopping? Let me know in the comments. I read every one and we shall go on a step-by-step basis together.

Here’s the truth, sis: the most magnetic woman in the room is rarely the prettiest. She’s the most certain — certain in self. And every time you compare, compete, and question what she has that you don’t, you give away a piece of the very energy that was making you magnetic.
Jealousy is often just misplaced recognition — another woman reflecting a possibility you haven’t yet given yourself permission to experience. Her energy was never meant to blur your vision. It was meant to introduce you to your own.
In this episode, we go deeper on the one trait every truly irresistible woman shares — and why it has nothing to do with your body, your age, or being “chosen.” It’s about returning to the part of yourself you were taught to abandon.
Inside this episode:
🪞 Name the ghost you’re dressing for — who’s been owning your mirror all this time, and why that version of you can no longer lead.
🪞 Stop negotiating with your silhouette — dress the woman you are today, not the one you’re waiting to shrink into.
🪞 Let people feel your no — because your no isn’t cruelty; it’s proof you value your own time, peace, and body.
🪞 Reclaim your edge — the very parts of you that became “inconvenient” are the ones that make your presence unforgettable.
This is the space where style, truth, and soul come together to help you elevate into the person you are becoming.
Let me know in the comments: whose energy have you been borrowing instead of claiming your own? Drop it below — we shall go step by step.

Here’s what nobody tells you: not every style blogger you follow actually has personal style. Some have access. Some have a stylist. Some are simply very good at wearing clothes beautifully. And when you keep buying fabulous occasion pieces inspired by women who are performing an image rather than expressing an identity, your closet fills up — but your personal style stays empty.
That gap is not your fault. But it is your responsibility to close.
Mama Kesh breaks down the real difference between personal style and being a stylist muse — using Rihanna and Zendaya as two very different examples. One dresses from the inside out. The other builds an image through collaboration and storytelling. Both are powerful. But understanding which one you are changes everything.
You’ll also learn how confidence is different from natural aura, why haute couture principles can guide your everyday wardrobe without the couture price tag, and four practical tips for building a sustainable wardrobe that works for events AND your true style — starting with prêt-à-porter.
What we cover:
0:00 — Why your clothes don’t feel like you
5:00 — Personal style vs. the stylist muse: Rihanna & Zendaya
8:00 — Tip 1: Build your foundation with prêt-à-porter
10:30 — Tip 2: Create an occasion capsule
11:00 — Tip 3: Let haute couture teach you
12:30 — Tip 4: Identify your personal style code
15:30 — Why following style bloggers can widen the gap

Question for you: Do you dress from the inside out, or have you been filling your closet with someone else’s image? Let me know in the comments.

Style confidence is more than wearing a cute outfit—it is self-trust made visible. In this collection of insights from Élever with Mama Kesh, we explore how your clothing reflects your identity, confidence, aspirations, and personal evolution.
You’ll discover why style is psychological, how your clothes communicate before you speak, and how to stop dressing for an outdated version of yourself. Mama Kesh also introduces the AURA Formula:
A — Access your energyU — Understand your silhouetteR — Refine, don’t replicateA — Anchor in alignment
This is about more than fashion trends or trying to look like someone else. It is about aligning your outer presentation with the woman you are becoming—whether you are rebuilding your confidence, entering a new season of life, or simply ready to feel like yourself again.
The true glow-up is not about changing your appearance. It happens when you stop performing and start aligning.
You are not too much, and you are not behind. Your style can become a powerful expression of your self-respect, clarity, and growth.
If this message resonates with you, please like, share, and subscribe to Élever with Mama Kesh for more conversations about style, self-discovery, confidence, and intentional living.
