Chris Cartwright

Chris was ordained in 1993 and ministered for over twenty-five years in two city churches. He began his ministry in the late 1980’s serving on the pastoral team in Kensington Temple in a variety of ministry roles including worship pastor and Director of IBIOL. From 1997 to 2010, Chris was the senior pastor of the City Temple in Cardiff. In 2010, he became the Regional Leader for Wales and the Southern Region before being appointed as the General Superintendent of Elim in May 2016.

Malcolm is lead pastor at Dundonald Elim Church, convenor of Agora - Elim’s Public Theology, Justice and Pastoral Ethics Taskforce, Theologian-in-Residence for Essential Christian, and Spring Harvest; an ambassador or board member for several Christian Charities; a special advisor to the U.K. government, U.N. and E.U. on issues of faith and public life and an international speaker and advocate.

Catherine De Souza

Catherine and her husband Dominic are the senior leaders of City Church Cardiff. Catherine co-chairs the Elim Justice Forum; is a Trustee Director of Tearfund; a member of the Evangelical Alliance UK Council; and is Kyria Network’s National Leader for Wales.

Military chaplaincy offers a powerful and effective model for ministry and mission in the twenty-first century. Mark Grant-Jones has been in ministry for thirty years including nineteen as an Army Chaplain. He has served God and soldiers in Germany, Iraq, The Balkans, and Afghanistan and is currently Senior Chaplain in Northern Ireland.

‘More than conquerors’ is not a slogan. Eric Gaudion discovered its reality in 22 years of appalling pain, and through over 40 years serving others walking through grief. Eric served as an Elim minister and while leading Cardiff City Temple he became seriously ill. There followed 22 years of unremitting pain, over 100 admissions to the hospital and more than 30 surgeries. Eric’s latest book ‘Through the Storms’ came out recently.
