James Aladiran, founder and director of Prayer Storm, is an instrumental figure

in the UK for catalysing the Church into deeper levels of intercession. Along with his wife, Rebecca, James and the team have been involved in mobilising strategic prayer for over 10 years. With a heart to see an awakening of prayer in the body of Christ, James and the team travel regularly to resource churches with teaching and practical training.

In this session, we will discuss several aspects of HR that will help you manage the staff in your church. One of the major topics covered will be recruitment and when a genuine occupational requirement applies. Time will be made available for Q&A.

Jimmy has been Elim’s HR Manager for 3 years and employed with Elim for 8 years. Jimmy manages the HR processes at the Elim International Centre in Malvern, as well as assisting Elim churches with any HR queries. He also facilitates the immigration programme for Elim.

Sam has been Elim’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) since October 2018 and manages the Data Team at Elim International Centre. As DPO, Sam helps Elim monitor its compliance with the GDPR, informs and advises on data protection obligations and acts as a contact point for data subjects and the Information Commissioners Office.

As leaders we know the importance of effective and strategic prayer in advancing the purposes of God on earth. However, it is true that prayer meetings are often the least attended church activities. In this session, we will be exploring some of the key principles necessary in shifting our churches from just having a prayer meeting to having a prayer culture.

At the heart of the Church is a ticking time-bomb. It is estimated that only 50% of children with Christian parents grow up to have a personal faith of their own as adults. Parents are the greatest influence in their children’s lives - so what can we do as churches, to equip and support parents to build and nurture faith at home with their children?
