Elixir: Hosted by The New Ways

ABOUT OUR SPECIAL GUEST
"The Berlin music producer Chaosfaktor moves on the deep, dark side of electronic music...Dubtechno, Deephouse...Bass... breakbeats. When he works with vocals, skillfully overlapped, they usually play an ethereal, paranoid and promising role.
Even the most playful synthie gimmicks are only an accomplished adornment for the consistent power of his compositions. - Nika Lenz#

Elixir is an one hour weekly music podcast featuring in depth discussions with DJs, Musician, Collaborators and Club Influencers about the real creations of art, balance and life.

THIS WEEK'S SPECIAL GUEST
As a DJ he has never let the crowds down and has never made a compromise in his sound, but still managed to progress through the years and fuse Techouse and Techno in a bowl of psychedelic groove.  Brought up in a family and circle of musicians, Toton was encouraged to pick up an instrument from an early age….and then came the passion for the more extreme side of music, industrial with a deadly dose of Hardcore Punk and Death Metal on that pot. From Metal to Techouse and Techno, it has been an interesting and a bumpy road for Toton in his 19 years of DJ career, a mountain of experience that has kept him at the forefront of the unique scene in Kosovo. Currently busy in the studio producing music, expect a lot coming from him.  Toton has played in and out of Kosovo, Switzerland, Germany, UK, Macedonia, Albania, Serbia.  Played alongside: Laibach, Gus Gus – Live, Morcheeba, Dubfire, UMEK, SIS, Dave Mothersole, Eddie Richards, Terry Francis, M.A.N.D.Y, Pascal Feos, Guti, Steve Bug, Robert Babicz, Peace Division, Andrea Oliva, Michel Sacher, Michel Deep, 16 Bit Lolitas, and local heroes: Dardan Ramabaja, Likatek, Naka, Goya, Vegim and Flekitza, Legoff, Uran B, Budha, AlexUnder, Dj Sabb, Drenique and many more.

ABOUT OUR SPECIAL GUEST
As a club Dj he spins mostly deephouse laced with some techno while keeping it soulful and funky, dropping original Prince (his huge musical idol) tracks, funk jams and disco which fit in on the fly-he also plays open format styles blending a huge range of music , fitting for bars etc . You can hear him Djing every Monday night during his weekly Electric Monday parties in Berlin @the KitKat Club.

Being on the Dj circuit for a good 35 years since the middle 80ties, Frankie and Ricardo Rodriguez have been running their weekly Monday night party , Electric Monday, at various venues in Berlin. Originally based in the Roter Salon, Frankie & Ricardo started to play every Monday since 2009 , rotating with each other, sticking to their respective styles and soon enough, they generated a crowd which began to party on a Monday.

As things progressed , they moved to Tresor in 2011 establishing the Mondays there, transforming a dead closed evening into an extension of the weekend.
