Donald Trump suffered another blow this week with Raphael Warnock’s reelection. It’s significant because statewide Georgia Republicans not tied to Trump were easily elected.

Elk Grove voters have approved Measure E, a one percent sales tax increase for most purchases in the city. Elected officials and city executives made many promises, but will taxpayers know how the money is being spent on their behalf?

Elk Grove City elected officials and bureaucrats have enjoyed a red-letter week.

First, the city hit the jackpot with the approval of Measure E, which means a quarter of a billion dollars over the next ten years.

In California’s top two systems, all four candidates in the State Senate District 10 and Assembly District 10 are Democrats.

No third party, much less any Republican candidates are to be found.

Even though he is not on the November ballot, former Elk Grove Mayor Steve Ly's 2020 controversy is a campaign issue, and ironically one candidate is being bludgeoned over it. 

This year, the will be at least two new Elk Grove City Council members. For certain, there will be new representatives in District 2 and District 4.
