Elle’s Illogical Insights

This is not a real episode and only directed at Ivy the Frog or Efeu.Der.Frosch (and Hayley)

This is a video podcast! The video can only be viewed on Spotify but the audio has all the details as well and can be listened to like a normal episode on other listening platforms.

Thank you to all the art contest entrants for your amazing work!

Sorry this episode was posted so late; I was busy and then there was some issues with posting this. It’s literally 10:03 PM and I stayed up editing this after going out with my best friend (Moongaze, actually, if you remember her from the first 2 or so episodes on this. Shoutout to you, Moongaze!), she got an award at her college’s award ceremony and I came along for moral support.

Thanks for listening/watching!

IN THIS EPISODE I go through some of the Heartstopper Yearbook by Alice Oseman! I will not be going through everything as most of the book is visual with Alice’s incredible drawings and it’s a better experience to buy the book yourself than have me read everything to you. Watch out for Part 2! I do the Nick and Charlie quiz in this, you can also do it at home if you don’t have the book! PLEASE GO SUPPORT THEIR WORKS! Stalkerish-ly surf through the Instagram for updates on Season 2 of Heartstopper on Netflix! Read the comics and the other books! :)

There is still time! Please get your art in while you still have the chance! Please try to aim to get it in by the 3rd of February but if you can’t you can still send it in during the days leading up to the 7th of February where I will be announcing the winners! Sorry for all the hassle this art contest has bought! For the guidelines, please head to the ART CONTEST! episode’s description.

Please name your art contest entry playlist ‘Art for Elle’s Illogical Insights’ so it’s easy to find! SORRY ABOUT THE DOG BARKING IN THE BACKGROUND! (In case you haven’t listened to the would you rather episode, it’s not mine) Anyway, to recap on the book, Arlo comes to his decision on the guide-ship of Byron Khari after a questionable dream (lol it autocorrected dream to have a capital- it just did it again) and let’s his friends and family know. (Not about the dream, about his decision).

THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME EVER EDITING A VIDEO AND USING CAPCUT! I hope you like it!

This also contains a tiny bit of info on the art contest:

You can draw me with a black bucket hat if you like, but preferably no other hats. I don't mind though!

This video includes me attempting and failing to catch the train with my friends, 5 kilometres of walking cut into less than 2 minutes and photos of food. SHOUTOUT TO THE THREE FRIENDS INCLUDED IN THIS VIDEO. (Hi, Olive Oil).

ART CONTEST GUIDELINES AND INFO:

. Try to stick to the theme of retro gaming and the colour scheme to include green would be nice, please!

. The art will be used for the main cover of the podcast!

. Comment if you are entering and add the art as the cover of your podcast episode

. Comment if you would like the deadline to be extended (please be genuine about this)

. Comment if I’m accidentally copying another podcaster’s style with the theme

. The art has to be appropriate!

. DEADLINE IS THE 3RD OF FEBRUARY, NO MATTER WHAT TIME IT IS FOR YOU. So, for example, if it’s the 3rd in your country already but still the 2nd for mine, still send it in! The winner will be ANNOUNCED ON THE 7TH OF FEBRUARY my time, not sure what time it is for you

. You can draw me in the cover art if you would like, I have greenish-blueish eyes, long blonde hair that is almost always out, so no ponytails or braids. In terms of jewellery I wear dangly earrings most of the time, a few rings on my fingers and two crystal bracelets, but the jewellery doesn’t really matter. For the outfit, you can do whatever, I don’t mind, just try not to do much pink please! You can draw me with a black bucket hat if you would like, example of that is in the Day Trip Vlog!

Today, I read to you, dear listener, my book recommendations and Chapter 1 of Meet Me Halfway, the book I have been writing for a few weeks now. Hope you enjoy!

THE FIRST EPISODE! THANK YOU EVERYONE! I hope you enjoy the insight into tv and book clichés!
