These are the origins and history of Lexcorp, the privately owned corporate arm and plaything of the world's most brilliant criminal mastermind.

Born to a dying planet, making a friend and then a mortal enemy of a refugee from a civilization already lost long ago, Luthor struggles for a way to save an Earth that he considers his birthright. With resources he invented or borrowed or stole, he raised a great tower in the center of the city of Metropolis to house his grand enterprises. Determining that greed and irrational private interest have hopelessly overpowered his own race's will to survive, he resolves to save the world despite that world's refusal to save itself.

We are all the heroes of our own stories, and Lex Luthor is certainly the hero of his.

Superman tracks the Master back to Earth and finds that everyone at Clark Kent's office is a zombie, patiently waiting at their desks for the interstellar real estate developer to announce that he's taken possession of the Earth.
