Ellissentials musical career started as a young pianist at 10 years old. Always enjoying electronic music in video games, and growing up with such movies as "Breakin'" he's really grown to love the genres of Breakbeat, House, Techno and other genre gaps in between. The name Ellissentials utilizes a combination of the artist’s last name, Ellis, and the word 'essentials.'

Leveraging his +15 years of DJing, Ellissentials has produced many unofficial album releases over the years and is looking to continue pursuing musical endeavors. Reaching the pinnacle of previously set goals, Kris accomplished his dream of distributing his productions/mixes to the masses. Exploiting the intricacies of Ableton Live in combination with various hardware and software over the years, Ellis feels as though future productions will inspire his listeners to dance and get lost in the music. Recognizing the value music has had in his life, he is pushed to use his creativity to help impact others.

Ellissentials recently attained support from none other than The Crystal Method, has had a # 17 single hit in the Beatport Breaks Top 100 chart, #6 hit in the Beatport Glitch Hop Top 100 chart, been in multiple "Top 10 Must Hear Breaks Tracks" charts and in 2014 attained a #1Breaks EP release that held position for a week. Also has remix work done by the likes of Colombo, Wes Smith, Seth Vogt and more!
