Ember Church Sunday Sermon

Selah is a term used in Psalms which is generally agreed to mean a musical repose / time for reflection. We’re going to experience this Sunday a really powerful revelation that you will bring you rest, no matter what you’re facing. Come and see how to see everything differently, and thereby enter His rest and peace.

Does it feel like you’re hearing from God regularly? Or is more muted, even non-existent even though you still know you are in a deep relationship with Him? God has us go through seasons…for reasons. Experience a very important reason this Sunday

So often we have to wait for responses to our prayers. Why do we have to wait? What benefit is there in waiting? What’s the point?

Last week we discovered our shared identity as a family. How do we live that out in daily life? What do healthy families do?

Shared stories create shared purpose and can turn a group into a community. Let’s reflect on who we are and what we do as a church family.

Come learn about the peace God has for us even when it seems like life is spinning out of control.

How I'm broken, let me count the ways… In a way that is amazing, the Lord is once again peeling back the onion to reveal a brokenness in us that we don’t even really see. But when we do see it, He will also show us an amazing, incredible, simple yet powerful way to overcome it so totally that you become a river of living water.

What makes God happy? Turns out He made it really clear. And then He gave us an amazingly simple way to bring others into that joy! Experience this, and you will experience something that will linger long after we’re done.

How do we follow a God who doesn't always look like we expect Him to? Come and see how God shows us His way, even when life isn't simple.

We always do a short sermon for Church at the Beach. But as the Lord has led us through all of this, this is the total follow up/culmination! And, perhaps the greatest thing is that it comes from a member of our family, who took what He did last week and noted if that is true then so too what I’m going to talk about. Totally amazing, totally God, totally cool, totally perfect for our Baptisms!!!
