Ember Church Sunday Sermon

God just keeps doing the most amazing things!!! Two months ago He said to do a series on baptism leading up to our baptisms at Church at the Beach. Then last week He delivered big time with revelations about baptism that were amazing. And now, this week, He's taking me to a place that is so revolutionary/ revelational that it is simply blowing my mind. I can barely wait until Sunday to share the incredible things that he's showing ...me. All I can say is "wow God." Can't wait for you to experience it!!!

A few weeks ago I felt the Lord lead me to ask everyone to send me their comments, thoughts, questions about baptism. I was very surprised by the wide range of responses, thoughts, questions, etc.. So this Sunday we’re going to explore what baptism really is, and what it really isn't, and I think that will all be surprised.

If you’re like me, you’ve probably spent more time trying not to make God angry, than you have learning to love Him back. God doesn’t want that kind of relationship with you. Let’s talk about how to move past our own guilt and resentment, to become the kind of people He made us to be.

We’ve been doing incredibly deep work on why we do what we don’t want, and don’t’ do what we do. This Sunday we’re going to make all this incredibly practical in a short, sweet and incredibly powerful way. Can’t wait for you to experience it first hand!!!

This is a “can't miss.” God has been doing such an amazing thing in identifying the deepest needs we actually have – not the one we think we have – rather the one that will make the most difference, namely, changing our wanters. And now He brings it to head by showing us that this is exactly what Romans is really all about. Amazing stuff here, you will want to be in His presence, in His anointing when you experience this one.

Hear Brent Christie from Jubilee Reach tell the story of how God is using the the local church to transform Bellevue's schools and reach those most in need.

The notion of memorizing large portions of scripture can be daunting. However, since God puts such a high priority on this discipline (150 times in His Word), it is reasonable to expect that we can do it.

The way that God is leading us is so amazing! We have been talking about how to change our wanter (what we want and why) so that we can truly be like Christ instead of just trying to act like him. And now, in the last few weeks, God has brought me multiple examples/lessons of exactly how important this really is and how much deeper it goes. I can't wait for you to experience the incredible revelations of the way that God works and how utterly different it is from how we do…
