Ember Church Sunday Sermon

What if there is much more to be found in Women in Ministry than any of us have heard? What if doing things right here, means getting things deeply and utterly right with Him? And even that means more than any of us have imagined… Experience this very important message and experience a love that will overwhelm.

With our culture increasingly becoming less and less Christian, is there a different way to engage with it than what we've been doing? It turns out that God has a plan for us and has given us wisdom on how to interact in a way that's pleasing to him, and shows us what happens when we do.

The last several weeks have been as prophetic as any I’ve ever seen. And He continues to tell us everything we need to know this week through a somewhat enigmatic statement – “the joy of the Lord is my strength” – that leads to a revelation that ties everything together. I stand in awe. Thank you Lord!

What does it actually mean to truly follow God? How can we do that more and more? For 17 years we’ve been working on it, now it’s your turn. We’re going to do something that is a perfect fit for the July 4 holiday weekend. It is going to be fun, and deeply insightful in a somewhat new way… See you there! 're going to love it :)

We all know what Baptism is all about don’t we? But what if God has something else in it that we don’t know, and that is amazingly helpful to us every day (especially when we are going through struggles)! This one will not be online and which either way is much better experienced in the moment (especially on a Beach!!! J) Seriously, this is for you, whether or not you’re getting baptized. God is amazing!!!

In this follow-up to last week's sermon, Curt explains what our response should be to what God is doing in the world.

We have been talking about various things that God can be doing when things aren’t going as you think they should (or even how they have in the past). We finish this with what I believe to be a word from Him about what He’s doing in the world…and it turns out to be really important.

Ever wondered why God limits Himself in the face of human need? How do we respond when it feels like He’s not responding? Come see what God’s doing even when He’s not doing anything.

Is there a big gap between the victory over sin which the Bible talks about and the reality of your everyday experience? Common responses to failure are either denial or guilt and condemnation. But God has a victory planned for us to enjoy!

Is God disappointing you? Do you feel like you could run your life a whole lot better than He does? You're not alone. How do you trust someone that could ease your pain, and doesn't?
