Today’s reading is from the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew. (12: 6-14)

We learn that we can look for God’s help in our suffering only when we have faith and only when we have a  desire and resolve to struggle. Only when we have a willingness to make some little effort to embrace the Lord and to draw and stay close him to us so he may always be in our midst.
