One of the most life-changing books I have ever read is The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle. In that book, he said: “As soon as you honor the present moment, all unhappiness and struggle dissolve, and life begins to flow with joy and ease. When you act out the present-moment awareness, whatever you do becomes imbued with a sense of quality, care, and love - even the most simple action.” A beautiful quote indeed. But as a mom who listens to personal development podcasts such as this one, as a mom who wants more for her self and for her life than just average, and as a mom who is undoubtedly affected in various ways by the state of the world at this moment, how do you reconcile the wise words of Eckhart Tolle about honoring the present moment, when at the same time you seek to better your self and your life, and, when you might feel like all you can do right now is just get by?
