For this episode, I will share my story with you all and my "why" for starting this podcast. Too many times we're told to be a certain way as mother's and we're put under so much pressure to be "perfect" moms. I'm here to say fuck what people have to say about mothers! We're no perfect! Some days, we may yell or forget to give our children an apple over a bag of Cheetos for lunch. Maybe we let our children binge-watch our favorite tv show on Netflix with us over reading a book. But, that doesn't mean we're a "bad" mom. It means we're human! Humans fall short daily. Humans make mistakes. Humans aren't perfect. Mother's are humans and this is a space where you can let your hair down. This is a space where you can vent or encourage another mother. This is a space where you can receive encouragement and healing. No Perfect Mums Allowed is about saying, "Yeah, I fuck up at times, but I love my child and I love being a mother". No Perfect Mums Allowed is about saying, "No, I don't have all the answers, but I'm trying". My only goal is to create a space for other moms to become the best version of themselves and to understand they aren't alone on this journey.
