With over 20 years of sales experience as well as adding pitching to the sharks on Shark Tank, I knew Michelle was someone I had to interview on the show. Asia Dang is a 20 year old college student and the founder and CEO of Defined Thread, an online clothing boutique that she started very recently. I have been friends with Asia for quite a while now, as some of you may know I grew up in Illinois until I was 16 and Asia was a good friend of mine for the past couple years I lived there. I wanted to get her on the podcast because as long as I've known her she has been extremely hard working. Welcome back to Emerging Entrepreneurs, in this episode I had the pleasure of interviewing my good friend, Elena Pham. Elena is the President of the University of Central Florida chapter Hearts for the Homeless and also helped start a new chapter at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Hearts for the Homeless is an organization that gives free blood screenings to the homeless as well as other health services. In this episode, Elena talks about what led her to the organization and how she eventually transitioned into becoming President. Also, Elena shares some of the misconceptions the majority of people have about the homeless population.
