Growing up, Emily was a perfectionist and a "gifted" kid. She became a Bahai in college and started dating a "hostile agnostic" shortly after converting. Trying to balance those two things, she eventually gave up her spiritual efforts in defeat and decided that making money was the most important thing. Then Emily started into a get rich quick scheme, populating sites with porn links, but actually made no money at all. Emily and her hostile agnostic boyfriend were invited to an introduction to Christianity course called Alpha. She went for all ten weeks, but the hostile agnostic just said "that's nice, good for you." Eventually she started reading the Bible, then creepy things started happening. One night, she was scared so much that she decided to become a Christian. Now she she deals everyday with three kids, epilepsy, and homeschooling!
