Police in the UK have confirmed Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor remains under investigation, after being released from custody.

The former Prince was arrested overnight at his home on the Sandringham Estate on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

The arrest happened on his birthday. 

UK Police are investigating allegations the King's younger brother shared confidential material with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently and strenuously denied any wrongdoing.
