Has the church from a wrong view of God, a caricature of God, so separated GOD from SUFFERING - SIN from SICKNESS - DEATH that we fail to see that God does chastise His people for their sins - - sometimes using sickness - even death---- That there can be a quid pro quo -i.e.,-this for that-- calculus for sinful behavior----

When the resurrected Lord appeared to his startled disciples, He -vs. 36- speaks to calms their fears -vs 39- shows them his wounds to confirm it really is himself, -vs 41-43- eats food to prove he is not a ghost, -vs 44-47-opens their minds to understand Scriptures, and -vs 48-49-sends them out as witnesses. Who He was, represented who they and every believer one day will be in the resurrection.

Throughout the book, Job searches for truth. He does not allowed shallow answers - nay sayers to deter him. He does not deny God-s sovereignty or His justice. Although perplexed, disturbed, and at times angry with God, he does not turn his back on God. This is the ultimate test of faith. When challenged - buffeted yet it will not allow one to turn away from God or God will not allow one to be tried beyond what one can bear.

What Happens at Death--a.Matter of great interest - fear--b.Source of speculation - religions.--As in all matters, we have the Bible as our source of authority - instruction. We have no desire to speculate beyond what the Bible states, but GREAT DESIRE to understand as much as possible what the Bible does teach on the subject.

Why is this great statement about Christ here in the middle of these short practical exhortations-- What does it mean that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever-- And what are the implications to the believer and non-believer that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever--
