Good Friday is not a funeral service for Jesus. Its a funeral service for you!  When He died, you died! All of yours sins too!  You are free!

Jesus is our hero! Although He has saved us from death and satan, He also saved us from ourselves!  Do you ever feel like you are your own worse enemy?

We aren't following a politician, philosopher, great artist or superhero.  We are following the Son of God.  More than that, we are following the one who died for us, hugged us in baptism and forgives us all our sins.  Knowing that, we can rise up and not be afraid.  we can love others and give to others.  God is with us.  We will be ok.

Jesus says, "YOU are the light of the world.  YOU are the salt of the Earth!"  People need you!  Don't worry, you got Jesus!

only those who got nothing - get everything in Jesus Christ!  Only those who know they are nothing because of sin and death get blessed completely with Forgiveness and Eternal life!  Jesus came to raise the dead, not help them.
