Untangling Verse 30

=Not merely lack of knowledge, but rejection of God’s character and will as made known through creation, conscience, and covenant; time before the mystery of Christ was revealed
-Overlooked (Rom. 3:21-25; 16:25; Gal. 4:4; Eph. 3:4-6; Col. 1:26)
=God did not bring immediate judgment; allowed time of ignorance to continue as His perfect plan for redemption through Jesus unfolded
Understanding Verses 30-31
1. God will Judge the World in Righteousness through Jesus

-Judgment of Sin (Idolatry; Rebellion against God and His Design)

3. The Resurrection of Jesus assures both Judgment and Salvation
