On Sunday, we returned to our Matthew Sermon Series. Pastor Michael preached out of Matthew 25:1-13 on on the parable of the virgins, or in some translations "bridesmaids." Are we running our own race for the Lord, or borrowing someone else's? Be encouraged!

This week, we're taking a break from our Matthew Sermon Series, as Pastor Ron preached on the beautiful biblical concept of rest and sabbath. From identifying the things that keep us from receiving rest, to the benefits of practicing sabbath, to the Lord's heart in providing for us and more - this is an important message for anyone!

As we continue to work through the gospel of Matthew, chapter 24 opens up a conversation about "end times" and the return of Jesus. This week, Pastor Ron preached out of Matthew 24:15-35 and went over some of the "labor pains" that Jesus talked about. From people claiming to be the messiah, to false teachers and signs and wonders, to the concept of "you'll know when you know" - Christ will be clear. We'll have one more week to discuss + pray through this chapter of Matthew!

Happy Mother's Day! This week, we continued right on through the gospel of Matthew in our sermon series. Pastor Michael preached out of Matthew 23:13-36 on the 7 woes that Jesus teaches to the crowds. From not leading others astray or making our own disciples, to taking care of what matters and avoiding hypocrisy - the messages are just as important today as the day Jesus spoke them. Are we living by these teachings? What do we need to bring to the light? The Lord is always calling us deeper.
