Emmaus Denver

Aaron wraps up our mini series, This Is Emmaus, by answering the question, what is our mission? We learn what it means to bring good to others as we're formed by God together.

In part 1 of our 2 part series called This Is Emmaus, we ask the question: who are we? So, Ben walks us through who we are because of who God is and what He has done.

One of our Elders, Cole, leads us through some key passages that show us God's unstoppable mission to spread his glory and presence across His creation.

We finish the story of God with the final three acts: Redemption, Kingdom, and New Creation.

Tim, one of our Elder Candidates, leads us in part one of the telling of God's story through scripture in the acts of Creation, Fall, and Promise.

We kicked off 2022 reflecting on Acts 2 and how God accomplished the extraordinary through the church participating in the ordinary means of grace. Together the church had all things in common because their commonality lied in Christ. This sermon was designed to be an introduction however, to a time of corporate prayer. So, when you finish listening, set aside some time to pray for: The Church Universal, Emmaus Church members & mission, Welfare of the world, Our Government's leaders, and for Denver and the needs of our community.

Aaron finishes our series in examining the theology of our Christmas Carols during advent with Joy to the World as we now anticipate the second arrival of our King Jesus.

Our Worship Pastor Ben connects the dots between baby Jesus and king Jesus showing us what Advent has to do with the reign of Christ.

On the third week of Advent we reflect on the words of Hark the Herald Angels Sing and the theology of reconciliation.

This week of Advent we take a look at the popular Christmas carol called O Come O Come Emmanuel and the deep theology of its lyrics.
