Emmaus Denver

Cole, one of our elders, brings us a word of exhortation from Hebrews as we look to the ultimate rest and righteousness we have in Jesus.

Our Worship Pastor Ben, continues our series in Hebrews pointing us to where our confidence should be and reminds us why the incarnation is so significant.

Aaron continues our series in Hebrews joyfully showing us how much better it is to have the Son speak directly to us than all of the angels and prophets before.

Aaron opens up the series Our Confidence in Hebrews with the first two verses. Here we learn of the implications of Gods holiness and just how great it is to put our confidence in Jesus.

To kick off Our Confidence series in Hebrews we read aloud the letter as a church.

Ben teaches from Psalm 18 about our need for deliverance being met in his victory over our enemies of sin and death!

We learn from Psalm 15 who exactly is able to dwell in the presence of God. Spoiler alert, its Jesus!

We learn from Psalm 14 that the knowledge of God is more central to who we are than maybe we have come to realize.

Jesse preaches his first sermon at Emmaus, showing us how Psalm 16 is all about Jesus leaning into the goodness, blessings, and presence of the Father even on the cross.

Aaron shows us how Psalm 13 comes from a dark place, but ends with a bright hope. Here, as Christians, we get a real view of the dark reality of being without hope, and at the same time, an answer to that dark reality in the beauty of the Gospel.
