Fear also touches our lives personally cause us to build defensive walls around our physical and emotional well being. Jesus demonstrates the most counter-cultural thing a Christ follower can do is to live a life rooted and motived in love rather than fear.

Teaching from Psalm chapter 9, Pastor Andy Lucas shows us that this Psalm is spoken from the perspective of the oppressed and it is largely one of thanksgiving, in praise of Yahweh, who interrupts typical social relationship of power between the weak and the strong, giving the marginalized a voice. God is on the side of the marginalized and we, as the people of God are called to join him in this work.
