In this session, we see the beauty of God's grace and mercy. Despite Adam's line breaking covenant with God, we see that God returns to covenant as soon as it is broken. Our God is a good Father and nothing is ever lost for those who live in covenant with him.

Jesus is the great mystery of God's covenant plan, hidden throughout the ages, revealed in him. In session 3, Pastor Alan introduces Adam and Eve helps us see how the God interacted with them as their Father both when they were in good relationship with him in the garden to God's love for them after Adam and Eve's fall.

In this first session, Pastor Alan provides an overview of the climax of the Old Covenant as the promise of the New Covenant by starting with Jesus and working in Old Testament passages with those in the New Testament. The concept of 'Covenant' is established as we are led to understand that Christ's resurrection re-frames and re-interprets the entire Old Testament corpus around himself.
