A lot has changed around here. Our listeners have adopted the name “the availers,” Sara gave a Ted talk (thank you for coming), and Nivedh got “engaged.”
To start today’s episode, we discuss whether or not getting on Netflix is the pinnacle of artistic success. Following last week’s call to action, we provide our first audit of a dating app profile submitted by an anonymous availer, and explain the nuanced implications of posting a photo with a guitar.
With a semi-improvised, semi-dramatic introduction that has something to do with a forest and a unicorn, we welcome the all-around incredible woman who is the other half of this engagement situation, furthering the point that in order to get on this podcast, you either have to call us in the middle of recording, or just already be in Nivedh’s house. We hear from both sides the rather unbelievable story of how they met. In this lifetime, at least.
As always, we are emotionally available to you. So send us your comments, questions, and crises at [email protected]. Follow us on Instagram @nivedhsingh1023 and @sara.mellas. Go ahead and DM us while you’re at it – we love a slide.
Emotionally Available: a Podcast is a Bedlam Sound Production.
