Empire

We discuss the latest episode of Empire, "Sinned Against". A lot happened this episode. Laz was found out by the Lyon's. Anika has fully gone crazy. Andre an Rhonda received a very generous gift. Jamal has a new love interest, and Carol has fallen off the deep end.

We enjoyed the episode, but of course we still had some problems with some of the story line and the execution. We will be back next week to cover the mid season finale.

Alright, alright, alright....this was a good episode. Empire brought their A-game. The Freda/ Hakeem battle was epic. Freda is a beast and she should have been crowned the champion, but we will leave that to Kanye to still someones shine. We are starting to question a few things, such as Rhonda's pregnancy, the deal that Mimi and Lucious signed, and what Anika is really up to. We only had a few problems with this episode, which we discussed, but we thought this was a step in the right direction.

Gary and Nicole discuss the latest episode of Empire, "True Love Never". We actually enjoyed this episode after the recent slump. Jamal's voice was on fleek as always. Hakeem teaches Laura how to get her sexy back. Andre turns down the nookie. Lucious embraces his demons in order to get a better hit, and Cookie is still sleeping with the enemy.

As a reminder, next weeks episode wont post util Saturday or Sunday. We would love to hear from you. Hit us up at [email protected]

We recap the latest episode of Empire, "Fires of Heaven". The music on this episode was hot! Hakeem really brought his "A" game. Lucious gives his family an ultimatum. Andre and Jamal are both longing for Lucious' attention. Cookie whips Hakem's girl group into tip top shape, but that wasn't enough to keep them. We are also very suspicious of Thirsty, and think he cant be trusted.

We discuss the latest episode of Empire, "Without A Country". Lucious wins again. Jamal is back to singing and do interviews. Andre's heart belongs to Empire, and it's Hakeem and Cookie against the world.

We loved the prison scenes, although some things were jut not believable. We do not trust Lucious' new lawyer, Thirsty. We are also tired of the Cookie Anika beef.

Gary and Nicole discuss the season two premiere of Empire. We jump forward three months after the season finale. Lucious Lyon is still king of the jungle. Cookie is still trying to work her magic and do what she feels is best for her children. However, Jamal is turning into Lucious junior. We hope this is a temporary thing, and the old Jamal that we love and care for will return. We get to see Anika twerk, and we are introduced to a new character who goes by the name of MiMi.
