  • 29. Building an Unforgettable Brand with Personal Branding Coach + Photographer, Ati Grinspun
After years of being a champion flair bartender, Ati Grinspun decided she wanted more out of her life. She always had a passion for photography, but after giving birth to her son, she felt as if her business was just another baby to take care of. In 2017, she transitioned to full personal branding photography, and it grew into what it is now, a personal branding photography membership and the Be You Brand Academy.

Ati is a coach and photographer who is on a mission to help women stand out online. She teaches women to build client-attracting brands that showcase your expertise and personality with authenticity and heart. She believes running your business and marketing your offers should never be a bore or a chore. Your ideal clients are out there waiting for you, so show them what you're all about with consistency, passion, and purpose!

Ati’s journey started with self digging. If you don’t have a personal brand, the honest truth is yes you do, you just don't have control over how you are being seen. What Ati helps her clients with is showing up confidently telling people what you do.

What Ati finds her clients struggling with is not knowing why they started their business in the first place. There is always a deeper why!

    In this episode:
    - Clarity on what you do, why you do it, and who you do it for.
    - Crafting a clear message on what you do.
    - How to grow your business, including podcasting aka borrowed audiences

I just turned 25, and I am hanging out in Costa Rica on vacation to celebrate, so I thought it would be fun to replay my very first episode telling my story, and what my business and podcast is all about!

Come over to IG @espressopodcastproduction to read my post about 25 things I've learned in business for my 25th birthday, and some amazing beach photos!

    --

Welcome to the Employee To Boss Podcast!

This episode is all about how excited I am to be launching the Employee To Boss Podcast! This podcast has been in the works for *a while* now, and I am just thrilled to be sharing these empowering interviews with world-changing entrepreneurs! We talk all about how to start your own business, grow your business, and the wins and struggles they have experienced.

My name is Hayleigh Hayhurst and I am the owner of Espresso Podcast Production, a full-service podcast production agency specializing in Editing, Marketing, and Strategy!

My journey into podcasting started when I was in college and co-hosted a pro-wrestling podcast called Wrestling Winedown with my friend Lo. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in December 2019 with a BA in Journalism and Media Studies and a minor in Political Science and Film.

I started my business, Espresso Podcast Production, in June of 2020, just months after I moved to Seattle Washington in search of something new in life.

Needless to say, I love talking, I love communicating, I love everything that podcasting encapsulates. And so that is why I'm so excited to be launching my very own podcast. I have helped my clients launch, grow, and monetize their podcasts, and now it is time for me to have some fun of my own!

I think of podcasting as an outlet to express yourself. And one of the big things that I want to stress in this podcast is you don't have to leave your 9 to 5, you don't have to start your own business. But you should be doing something that brings you joy outside of your 9 to 5.

If your whole life is your corporate job, it's going to lead to burnout. You're going to get bored. You're going to get annoyed. You're going to want something more.

That's why side hustles are so popular right now, honestly, you can make a side hustle out of anything. You could make a side hustle of watching dogs on the weekend, you can make a side hustle of selling ebooks, selling sports cards, really, anything out there can be a side hustle. There are so many different things that you can do. And my favorite is podcasting.

    I am 24, a dog mom, a Taurus, and a podcast enthusiast.

I am so excited for you to tune into this podcast every Tuesday for a new interview episode with an amazing entrepreneur. You will be able to find the transcripts on my website, www.espressopodcastproduction.com, and all the links will be in the detailed show notes.

I cannot wait to connect with you!

  • 24. Ready To Break Free From The Corporate Grind? How To Build An Exit Strategy with Jessica Sato
In today’s episode I speak with Jessica Sato about how she coaches women though breaking free from corporate and going full time into their entrepreneurship dreams. Entrepreneurship takes time, effort and energy, and it is a slow process, but it is SO worth it!

In my podcast coaching program, I preach strategy, and Jess does the same! We talk about the difference between an escape plan vs an exit strategy when leaving a corporate job, and having a solid strategy behind leaving your job. A strategy takes away stress of trying to make things work, it gives you the confidence that things will work!

Jess Sato has been an entrepreneur for over 10 years. She hopped off the corporate treadmill and became an entrepreneur, but it did not happen overnight. She created a plan, made mistakes, and learned from them along the way. She has helped dozens of women start their own successful businesses and leave the corporate world behind. Her goal is to help women find the path and the purpose that are uniquely theirs.

    - Escape plan vs exit strategy from corporate

  • 22. Train your brain for ease, abundance and freedom with Dr. Deborah Fryer, Spiritual Business Coach & Money Mindset Expert
Hey Boss...You are in charge of what you want in life. You are in charge to go out there and get it. You are the boss!

She was successful but was overdrawing her bank account frequently, and this caused her to feel ashamed and like an imposter. She has a Ph.D. but was dismissing this. She thought that in order for her to have real respect and authority, she thought she needed to go to medical school. When she didn't get into medical school, she was upset but knew the universe was looking out for her.

We dive into raising your prices and knowing your value. This is a blind spot for a lot of employees because your boss tells you your value. This also leads to entrepreneurs not knowing their value, because asking for more can be difficult. It can be hard to put ourselves first. As entrepreneurs, we need to stop letting our clients lead our business, and wait for our clients to set up financially free.

    Action Steps:
    1. Pay attention to your breath
    2. Write down your ideas - get them out of your head and get them onto paper
    3. Pick one idea and go for it. Go all in. Do not have a Plan B.
