  • 336: Employees' Right to Disconnect in Colombia

Many countries have recently enacted laws related to the right of employees to disconnect from work for guaranteeing a work-life balance. In any case, the new law will bring some exceptions considering the level of the employee, the job responsibilities and the context in which the employer make contact, and also will introduce a new obligation with respect to the need to implement an internal policy around that topic for generating limits and a process for solving claims related to violations to right to disconnect.
