What if sustainable success isn’t about working harder, but about building a better system? In this episode of Empower, Ryan Napierski and Kathy Schultz Johnson kick off a new series focused on the power of systems and what it takes to build a successful, scalable business. They break down why network marketing is a performance sport, the importance of consistent behaviors, and how systems can turn individual success into something that can be taught, duplicated, and scaled. Ryan and Kathy explore the fundamentals of the network marketing model, including the customer-to-affiliate-to-brand-rep-to-leader journey, the role of leverage, and what they call the 4x4 system: acquire, develop, retain, and progress. They also discuss why systems have to evolve with technology, why new Brand Reps need clear and specific guidance, and how leaders can use data, feedback, practice, and even AI tools to build and refine their processes. Most importantly, this episode challenges you to stop relying solely on natural talent and ask a simple question: What is my system?Whether you're new to the business or an experienced leader, this conversation offers a practical framework for turning what you do into a repeatable process that others can learn and build upon.
