Vickie Klimantaris is a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Nutritionist in the state of Florida. She has a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from Florida INternational University where she graduated top of her class. Since graduating and completing the Didactic internship, Vickie has practiced as an RD in various areas including Oncology, Community outreach, local school districts however her most recent work has been as Clinical Dietitian and Clinical Nutrition Manager for a local Hospital in South Florida. There, her focus has primarily been critical care medicine and post-surgical medicine where she provides nutrition life support for the most vulnerable. She provides nutrition education for patients who undergo major abdominal surgery to help them adjust to their new way of living.
Working in the hospital for many years, she's realized that obtaining good health can not be learned in a 15-min diet education which most patients receive while hospitalized; with that being said, Vickie has taken her love for educating and has started her own Virtual Private Practice to provide more in-depth counseling to those who are looking to live a healthier life. After becoming a mother, she quickly learned how challenging it can be to balance newborn life while finding the time to prepare meals. Her true passion has been helping new moms love and nourish their postpartum bodies in order to be the best versions of themselves. She truly enjoys helping families come up with quick, nutritious and age appropriate foods for infants, toddlers, and parents all while living your best life.
