In this episode Elin and Christina welcome back our guest, Ariana Valencia. Ariana is a first-generation Latina educator with a strong background in dual language instruction and educational leadership. She holds bachelor's degrees from UC Davis and a Master's from Loyola Marymount University. Ariana has held diverse roles in education, including dual language teacher, ELD coach, middle school vice principal, and elementary school principal.
Currently, Ariana serves as Lead Coach with New Teacher Support and Development at Oakland Unified School District, where she mentors new teachers to foster their professional growth and student success. Outside of her professional accomplishments, she cherishes creating adventures with her family. With a passion for both her work and her loved ones, Ariana embodies a balanced approach of dedication and love in every aspect of her life.
