This morning’s devotional comes from Hebrews 11:32 where the author mentions several Judges in the Old Testament who demonstrated faith.

Mordecai is in full persuasion mode. He is convinced. Esther is hesitant. She gets persuaded, she understands, she becomes resolute and becomes a hero for her people. That is quite a movement of emotions, thoughts and resolve. Ultimately it is based on faith, faith that God is worthy of our trust in a life or death situation.

Let's be reminded of the beauty and peace of harmony among people who are regularly together - a family, a team, a church, a small group, a neighborhood. What can ruin that harmony? Often it's a person sowing discord that causes strife, quarreling and abuse. What do you do with people like this? Proverbs 20:10
