This morning we look at Psalm 69 as we continue in our Lent devotionals focusing us on the coming of Easter and the work of Jesus on the cross. This morning we are reminded that it is not our reputation that is of most import but the reputation of Christ and Christ alone.

This morning’s devotional comes from Psalm 118:22-24 where the Psalmist writes of a stone that was rejected eventually becoming the cornerstone -- which from the New Testament we know is describing Jesus.

This week we continue to look forward to the coming of the King. This morning Pastor Travis leads us through a reflection of Psalm 2 which anticipates the coming of Jesus, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

2 Samuel 7 King David wants to build a house for the ark of God replacing the tent as a permanent upgrade. The LORD quickly communicates through Nathan the prophet that it's neither the time nor is David the one to build the proposed Temple. Who determines the time and the builder that God will use to propel His plan forward? Is it we children of God who really desire this good thing; or is the timing and the person a choice of our Sovereign LORD?
