Former police officer medically retired on a healing journey who hiked 64 days solo 

Former police officer medically retired on a healing journey, Trudie Marie whom is in the final stages of launching her very first book with a launch date on 10/10/2024. Her book is called “ Everyday warrior “. This book is her real time journal entries of when she hiked the Bibbulmun Track for 64 days, 1000kms, with no podcasts, music or audiobooks - SOLO! What a woman! Her story is so inspiring and one of great strength, resilience and courage to face her ptsd head on and come back home to her so she could live a more joyful life following her dreams and inspiring others on the way. 

Trudie shared with us the preparation prior to hitting the track, her learnings from solo hiking,  the things she would do different (yes she is going again), the things she endured along the way, her time in the police force, self publishing her book, where she is heading and so much more!

Our jaws needed to picked off the floor a few times during this episode. Trudie, it was an absolute pleasure having you on EWP and we are just beyond proud of what you have achieved!

Literal soul chat with the gorgeous Abby Lewtas from Stars by Abby. Abby empowers you to understand and connect with your higher self through astrology. Abby’s Mum gave her all these astrology books as a child; one day Abby just was led down the path of learning all about Astrology because she had held onto the books for so long. It felt like second nature to Abby as she went down the journey of discovery, while studying Astrology. All paths lead to where we’re meant to be. Abby was a tour guide out in the desert and this turned into sleeping under the stars studying Astrology. How divine 🥹

Pink elephants also have a podcast, Instagram page, podcast and support pages on facebook for different stages of your pregnancy journey. They also offer live chat support on certain days and times, and support programs that are free. Check out their website for more information.

- Zoe Clark-Coates is an author who has written several books that support different stages of your pregnancy journey, whether you have just suffered a loss or trying to conceive after loss. Her books also have journal prompts that you can follow throughout your pregnancy or after a loss, depending on the text you purchase.

- Around the due date we ordered a certificate of recognition from the Victorian Government, Births, Deaths and Marriages. Some states in Australia now offer this for early pregnancy loss and it was an easy process online. It was lovely to have our certificate arrive in the mail not long after our due date, and a beautiful reminder of our baby that we have framed in our house.

Navigating life after Divorce with Teena Hoven Whitechurch
