Empty Checking with Derek Brink

In this episode I talk about many of Neil Gaiman's books as well as music from Adele, Descendents, Jazz is Dead, and Dream Theater. I had fun doing it. Now you must have fun listening. That is the nature of the contract.

Quick update to let you know that not only am I COVID-free, the show is coming back THIS WEEK! Thanks for your patience and I'll talk to you (for a lot longer) soon!

In a re-do of a thing I initially uploaded (then deleted) last night...here's a brief update on why the show is going to experience a hopefully brief hiatus. Short version I've been exposed to COVID and I'm awaiting a test and am in no mood to do the show properly. So here's me saying that for a long time.

Join my brother Dave and me for the conclusion of our two-part talk on The Rocky Horror Picture Show! I'm a little more focused. Dave remains fine despite my interjections! And so on!

Dave mentioned the St. Louis shadow-cast in this episode, so please check them out on Facebook here: Flustered Mustard | Facebook.

No time breakdown this week since it's all one topic, but I hope you enjoy it!

Today's episode is part one of a two-part conversation my brother Dave and I had about The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Listen as I trail off and stop paying attention! Marvel as Dave struggles to get back to what he was talking about as I keep derailing him. Gasp as I completely forget how to talk or listen to another human being! And have fun! :)

No time-breakdown this week because it's pretty much all Rocky Horror...but in this installment we talk more about the movie itself, and in the next episode we'll get into the fan-experience.

Meanwhile, check out the companion blog at http://emptychecking.blogspot.com and email your questions and comments to [email protected]!

And did I mention there was vodka? Check it out!Remember to check out the companion blog at http://emptychecking.blogspot.com for photos and more.
