What is your true path? Is it fate or destiny? I would say no. Your true path is comprised of your inner desires and longings. You may have put them on hold for a myriad of reasons, typically rooted in fear, but they persist at the level of spirit… and that’s what you’re broadcasting to the universe and THAT is what the universe is responding to.

I frequently say, “Spirit always wins.” So, if you’re bucking against your true path and blocking the way, spirit will find ways to help you receive your true desires in wanted and unwanted ways. So, it really is essential to proactively embrace change, be flexible like water, and go with the flow.

This is where the wisdom of the Wheel of Fortune card in the Tarot deck comes into play. The Wheel reminds us that life is cyclical, filled with ups and downs, twists and turns. But how do we navigate the complex terrain of decision-making with integrity? This is where the delicate interplay between logic and intuition comes into play. Our logical mind provides us with rational analysis and critical thinking skills, while our intuition taps into our deeper wisdom and gut instincts. When we learn to integrate these two faculties, we achieve a state of balanced discernment—a state where we can make decisions that honor both our intellect and our inner guidance.

However, the path to balanced decision-making is often obstructed by our reluctance to take accountability for our actions. We’ve all been there—the temptation to deflect blame, justify our behaviors, or sweep our mistakes under the rug. But here’s the thing: when we shirk accountability, we’re essentially disrupting the delicate equilibrium of karma.

In the Tarot deck, the Justice card embodies the principles of fairness, honesty, and accountability. It reminds us that every action we take has consequences, and that true justice can only be achieved when we accept responsibility for our choices. Yesterday, we channeled Justice your ability to make firm, sound decisions using both your intellect and intuitive faculties. Today, we’re delving into a crucial aspect of that process: the art of waiting for intuitive information to come through. It’s a concept that might feel a bit counterintuitive in our fast-paced world, where we’re accustomed to instant answers and constant activity. But trust me, there’s magic in embracing the pause.

Rushing through life without clarity or a plan from higher guidance can leave us feeling scattered, overwhelmed, and disconnected from our inner knowing. It’s like trying to navigate a dense forest without a map or compass—we might stumble around aimlessly, unsure of which path to take.

That’s where the wisdom of the Hanged Man card in the Tarot deck comes in. Picture this: a figure suspended upside-down, calmly observing the world from a different perspective. Notice the glowing halo of light around his head. It’s like a beacon of new insights, awareness, and enlightenment, just waiting to blossom and grow!

This card embodies patience, faith, and serenity—the qualities we need to cultivate as we wait for clarity to emerge.

Patience is about trusting that the answers we seek will reveal themselves in their own time. It’s about surrendering the urge to force things to happen and instead allowing the universe to unfold as it should. Think of it as planting seeds in a garden and trusting that with time, sunlight, and water, they will eventually blossom into beautiful flowers.

Faith is about believing in something greater than ourselves—a higher power, the universe, or simply the wisdom of our own intuition. It’s about having confidence that we are being guided and supported, even when the path ahead seems uncertain. When we have faith, we can navigate the twists and turns of life with a sense of inner peace and assurance.

Serenity is about finding calm amidst the chaos. It’s about quieting the chatter of the mind, letting go of worries and doubts, and sinking into a state of deep relaxation and receptivity. When we cultivate serenity, we create space for intuitive insights to bubble up from the depths of our being, like messages from our soul to our conscious mind.

I often tell my clients to be still until they receive that intuitive a-ha moment… that moment of pure clarity that hits you when you’ve stopped analyzing and come into a place of receptivity. It’s when you’re washing dishes, taking a shower, reading a good book, watering your lawn, or just resting when the answers and information flow to you. It’s then and only then that you move your feet. That’s when you’re free to take aligned action, and that feels so much more stable and sure-footed!

So, my friends, as we journey through Day 13 of the psychic cleanse, let’s remember to embrace the pause. Let’s take a deep breath, release the need to rush or control, and trust that the clarity we seek will come when the time is right. Remember, it’s not about doing more, but about surrendering into the stillness and allowing ourselves to be guided by the wisdom that resides within.

Hopefully, you’ll like today’s exercise! It is simply to take a time out. For some people this is easier said than done, but for others it’s an easy, “Yes, please!” So, today take 10! Make it 20 minutes if you have it. Do a whole lot of nothing. Nap, rest, gaze or meditate if that’s easy for you. Let your mind and body come into a state of rest and receptivity.

Reflect on a time when you consciously chose to embrace patience and surrender control in a situation where clarity seemed elusive. What lessons did you learn from this experience? How did it impact your journey of self-discovery and intuitive growth?

Welcome back to the 22-Day Psychic Cleanse, where we embark on a journey through the mystical realms of the Tarot and beyond. Today, we’re delving into the potent energies of transformation and closure, guided by the profound symbolism of the Death card. Often feared and misunderstood, this card is actually one of the most positive and enlightening in the deck.

After our introspective pause with The Hanged Man, we now encounter Death, signaling the end of a significant chapter in our lives. But fear not. Death is not a bringer of doom but rather a messenger of freedom, rebirth and renewal.

“Letting go gives us freedom, and freedom is the only condition for happiness. If, in our heart, we still cling to anything – anger, anxiety, or possessions – we cannot be free.”

In the Tarot, Death represents the closing of one door to make way for another, the shedding of old skin to reveal the radiant essence beneath. It’s a cosmic call to release what no longer serves us, to bid farewell to outdated beliefs, relationships, resentments, or bad habits that weigh us down.

But let’s face it – letting go isn’t always easy. We humans have a knack for clinging to the familiar, even when it’s clear that it’s time to move on. The problem of holding onto the past can manifest in various ways – clinging to past hurts, staying in stagnant situations out of fear of the unknown, or simply resisting change because it’s uncomfortable.

Yet, the Death card teaches us that in order to grow, we must first let go. Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, we can only experience true transformation once we release our grip on the past. It’s about surrendering to the natural cycle of life, trusting that what lies ahead is infinitely more beautiful and fulfilling than what we leave behind.

Resistance to this necessary ending can lead to pain – both emotional and physical. Just as a tree must shed its old leaves to make way for new growth, we too must shed our attachments to the past to embrace the fullness of our potential.

But here’s the beautiful paradox – in the midst of death, there is life. The universal vacuum law states that in the space created by letting go, we invite new opportunities, relationships, and experiences to blossom. By exercising our imagination and visualizing a new possibility, we pave the way for constructive patterns to emerge, guiding us towards our highest good.

I remember watching “The Shift,” a docudrama by Wayne Dyer. It begins with him saying, “At the morning what was true, in the evening will become a lie.” What resonates with me about this quote is the subtle notion that what once worked for us served its purpose, but may not do so anymore. There’s no need for regret; instead, we simply acknowledge our evolution and recognize the need to adapt mentally and spiritually as a consequence.

So, as we journey through Day 14 of our psychic cleanse, let’s embrace the transformative power of Death. Let’s honor the endings in our lives as sacred rites of passage, knowing that each goodbye opens the door to a brighter, more expansive future.

Remember that just as the caterpillar must dissolve into goo before emerging as a beautiful butterfly, so too must we surrender to the process of transformation. Trust in the wisdom of the universe, and know that every ending carries within it the seeds of new beginnings.

Look around your present environment to notice what’s old, toxic, wasteful, expired, or just annoying. What’s filling your space and perhaps blocking anything new? Do you have stuff in your space that triggers you? Schedule a bit of time today and clear this stuff away. File, organize, put a donation box together and/or toss the trash out.

Reflect on a significant event or aspect of your life that you feel has come to an end or no longer serves you. Go into the feeling place and describe how holding onto the past in this regard has impacted you.

Then, explore what it would look like to fully let go and embrace the freedom that comes with releasing attachments. Imagine what new opportunities or growth might emerge from this act of closure and transformation. Where are you now?
