Welcome back to Day 4 of our Staying Aligned in Uncertain Times healing series. Today’s focus is the heart chakra, a powerful source of compassion, courage, and resilience. The heart chakra helps us to anchor ourselves in love and empathy, which can feel especially challenging in times of fear and uncertainty. If you’ve been experiencing feelings of anxiety, betrayal, or even disillusionment, know that this is natural. With the heart chakra as our guide, we’ll explore how to stay centered and aligned—even when it feels like the world around us has shifted in unexpected and painful ways.
The heart chakra, or Anahata, is located at the center of your chest and is the fourth of the seven primary chakras. In Sanskrit, Anahata means “unhurt” or “unstruck,” symbolizing the strength and resilience of this energy center. This chakra radiates love, compassion, and empathy, all represented by its color, green, and associated element, water. I refer to it as the bridge between our lower and upper chakras. The heart chakra connects our humanity and divinity, guiding us to embrace both the light and shadows within ourselves and the world.
In uncertain times, the heart chakra becomes our anchor, allowing us to tap into a deeper sense of kindness, healing, and connection. Yet, when confronted with fear or a feeling of betrayal, it’s easy for this center to become imbalanced, leading to an emotional shutdown or a reluctance to connect. For those of us who feel deeply, witnessing people we once trusted or communities we once cherished choosing paths of division or hate can feel like a heavy blow to the heart. We might find ourselves grappling with difficult questions: How do we keep our hearts open in a world that feels so uncertain? How do we remain loving when others seem to choose fear or hate?
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
Martin luther king, jr.
When the heart chakra is in balance, we feel a steady flow of love and kindness moving through us. In this balanced state, we’re able to be both open and discerning, nurturing ourselves while sharing compassion with others. But during times of turmoil, our heart chakra can close off, leading to feelings of grief, apathy, or even numbness. You may feel distrustful of others or find it hard to forgive. Anxiety and fear may bubble up, especially when the future feels uncertain or when we see others acting from a place of fear or division.
In times like these, it’s essential to reconnect with the heart chakra. One of the most powerful things we can do is remind ourselves that love is a resilient force. Choosing to keep our hearts open is a courageous act, one that doesn’t mean passively accepting harmful behavior but rather standing firm in compassion and clarity. This openness doesn’t require perfection, just a commitment to respond with kindness, even when we feel hurt or fearful.
Feeling betrayed by the choices of others can make it tempting to close our hearts and put up walls of self-protection. However, closing off the heart chakra may lead to bitterness or a sense of separation. Instead, we can choose to process feelings of betrayal and grief in a way that keeps the heart healthy. One way to do this is by letting go of the need to control others’ actions and focusing on the values that keep us aligned with love. In doing so, we create space to forgive, set boundaries, and protect our own energy without allowing resentment to take root.
If you’re struggling with trust or feeling disconnected from the world, try shifting your focus back to the things that nurture your heart and bring peace. Start with a small practice of gratitude or engage in activities that lift your spirit—these are simple but powerful ways to reconnect with a balanced heart.
One powerful way to stay centered in the heart is by practicing self-compassion. Treat yourself with gentleness and allow yourself to feel whatever comes up without judgment. Try beginning each day with an affirmation like, “I am open to giving and receiving love,” or “I forgive myself and others.” Allow these words to wash over you, and notice any areas of tension that start to soften. This may take more practice than usual, so give yourself grace.
Breathwork is also wonderful for opening the heart. Sit comfortably and imagine each breath moving through your heart space, releasing fear and welcoming peace. You can also explore gentle movement practices like yoga stretches that open the chest and shoulders, letting energy flow freely through the heart center. Essential oils like rose, jasmine, or lavender can help create a soothing environment for healing and calm.
Another heart-centered practice can include embracing a child-like curiosity and openness, remembering how children are naturally accepting and free from judgment. Kids often welcome others without hesitation, seeing people for who they are, not what they can gain from them or who they voted for. They approach the world with wonder, always eager to learn and connect. As adults, it can be challenging to let go of expectations, judgments, and fears, but bringing an open heart into our lives can ease that burden. Practicing this child-like openness can be as simple as allowing yourself to be curious about others’ perspectives, savoring the small wonders in each day, or taking a moment to listen deeply. This shift can open pathways for healing and connection that might otherwise be blocked.
Living from the heart doesn’t mean ignoring the pain or fear around us. Instead, it’s about choosing compassion as a way forward, honoring the feelings that come up, and letting them pass through without hardening our hearts. The heart chakra teaches us that we can be open and resilient—that our capacity for love is not diminished by the actions of others. We can still choose empathy, connection, and kindness, keeping our hearts open to the beauty and goodness that also exist in the world.
“I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”
martin luther king, jr.
Let’s finish today with a brief heart chakra meditation. Close your eyes and settle into a comfortable position. Take a few slow, deep breaths, and imagine a warm green light glowing at the center of your chest. With each inhale, feel this light grow brighter, radiating love, acceptance, and healing. Picture this light expanding outward, embracing all that you are—the pain, the joy, the confusion, and the hope. As you exhale, imagine this love reaching out, connecting you with the world, with a renewed sense of openness and peace. Know that your heart is strong and resilient, and that by choosing love, you bring healing not only to yourself but to the world around you. And that is precisely what the world needs now.
Thank you for sharing this time with me today. Opening the heart chakra takes courage, especially when life feels uncertain or others seem to choose fear. But as we keep our hearts open, we remind ourselves of our own power to love, to heal, and to create a ripple of peace. Tomorrow, we’ll continue this journey by exploring the throat chakra and its role in expressing our authentic truth. Until then, may your heart be a source of comfort and strength.

Welcome to Day 5 of our Staying Aligned in Uncertain Times healing series, where today we’re focusing on the Throat Chakra—the energy center that governs our ability to communicate truth, authenticity, and creativity. This is the fifth chakra and the first of the higher, more spiritual chakras. It’s located in the neck, ears and shoulders, and its beautiful blue energy reflects clarity, honesty, and self-expression. It’s associated with the element of air and the suit of swords in Tarot.
In today’s climate of division, conflicting opinions, and widespread misinformation, it’s natural to feel anxious about speaking up, especially when surrounded by confusion and resistance. With an unpredictable future and the surprising outcomes of recent events, many of us feel challenged to find our voices amid fear and uncertainty. That’s why now, more than ever, it’s important to keep our throat chakras balanced and open, enabling us to communicate in a way that aligns with both our inner truth and the compassion the world so deeply needs.
“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
ralph waldo emerson
The throat chakra is the gateway to all forms of personal expression, empowering us to share our unique perspectives and communicate with clarity, purpose, and confidence. When this chakra is balanced, it fuels creativity in every medium—whether through words, music, art, or writing—encouraging us to express our originality and speak our truth with grace and authenticity.
The health of our throat chakra is intimately tied to the solar plexus chakra, which fuels our sense of personal identity. When you feel confident in who you are, the throat chakra naturally supports your expression. If, however, the solar plexus is unbalanced—leaving you feeling uncertain, insecure, or even doubtful—it can show up as a blocked or suppressed throat chakra. Conversely, if our solar plexus is overactive and ego-driven, our words may come out loud, aggressive, or judgmental.
This is why in times of anxiety, it’s common to find ourselves either holding back from speaking our truth or feeling the impulse to defend it forcefully. The goal is to maintain balance, allowing our voice to flow in harmony with our deepest values and intentions.
When your throat chakra is blocked, you might feel self-doubt or anxiety about expressing yourself, worry about being judged, or fear saying what you truly believe. It may also show up physically through throat discomfort, neck tension, or even chronic issues like coughs or frequent throat clearing. Some may experience the opposite: an overactive throat chakra can lead to constant talking or a need to dominate conversations, often because we’re unknowingly trying to mask insecurity.
If you find yourself hesitant to speak, ask yourself what’s holding you back. Is it a fear of rejection or misunderstanding? Does expressing your thoughts make you feel vulnerable? Being honest with ourselves about these fears is the first step toward clearing the blocks in this chakra.
“Explain it to me like I’m a four-year-old.”
joe miller, “philadelphia” 1993
A balanced throat chakra doesn’t just allow you to speak your truth—it enables you to speak it with compassion and openness, making others feel heard, respected, and understood. When you’re rooted in your truth, your words carry a sense of calm conviction that invites others to listen rather than react. In this way, the throat chakra can help us become better listeners too, enhancing our ability to connect meaningfully with others.
One of the biggest challenges in today’s world is to communicate without judgment and with an open heart. An aligned throat chakra reminds us to stand in our truth without feeling the need to defend it or impose it on others. By listening deeply, we give others the gift of feeling heard, one of the most profound forms of respect and empathy we can offer.
To keep your throat chakra open, think of practices that align with curiosity, playfulness, and creativity—qualities often seen in children who communicate with an open heart and a curious mind. Children are naturally less prone to judge; they tend to accept others as they are and express their feelings freely. This child-like curiosity can help us approach life with an open mind, allowing us to see beyond differences and find common ground.
Adulting can be hard, and it’s easy to let fears of judgment and societal expectations stifle our voices. But by bringing a bit of that child-like openness and seeking to understand back into our communication, we create space to express our true selves authentically and joyfully.
Here are some techniques to keep your throat chakra in a state of balance, openness, and clarity:
To strengthen your throat chakra, try these affirmations, letting each one resonate in your mind and heart:
Using essential oils such as peppermint, chamomile, or lavender can help energize and balance the throat chakra. These oils can be diffused or added to a carrier oil and massaged on the neck.
For throat chakra nourishment, think hydration—water, teas, soups, and fresh juices all contribute to this chakra’s flow. Avoid heavy, mucous-forming foods, and instead opt for cleansing foods that help maintain vocal clarity.
The throat chakra plays a key role in helping us navigate unpredictable times, allowing us to communicate with integrity, stand in our truth, and connect compassionately with others. When we can speak openly and authentically, even when the world feels uncertain, we find a calm strength that helps us remain grounded and at peace.
As we continue through this healing series, let’s focus on using our voices as a source of love and understanding to create a ripple effect that inspires openness in the world around us. As Kamala Harris reminds us, “We have more in common than what divides us,” even though it doesn’t always feel that way.

Welcome to Day 6 of our chakra healing series, where today, we’ll journey into the Third Eye Chakra—your seat of intuition, inner vision, and higher insight. In times like these, with unexpected challenges and shifting world events, feeling grounded in your own wisdom and perspective can be more crucial than ever. Amid uncertainty, when the future feels clouded and outcomes are surprising, connecting to this powerful chakra can bring a deep sense of clarity and trust in your path forward.
Located in the center of the brow, the Third Eye Chakra is linked with the color indigo, associated with the suit of swords in Tarot, and the pineal gland—a small, pea-shaped gland in the brain thought to play a role in regulating your biological clock, sleep-wake cycles, and even spiritual awareness. The pineal gland is sometimes called the “seat of the soul” and has been connected to your psychic senses: clairvoyance (clear seeing), claircognizance (clear knowing), and even telepathy.
“Intuition is really a sudden immersion of the soul into the universal current of life.”
paulo coelho
The Third Eye Chakra governs “inner seeing,” allowing you to visualize, imagine, and understand beyond the limits of the physical senses. By tuning into this chakra, you access higher wisdom and intuition, providing you with guidance that transcends what can be perceived with your physical eyes. It offers clarity, helping you navigate life from a place of greater insight rather than reacting with fear or anxiety to the unknown.
The gift of the third eye chakra is the ability to see truth beyond illusion. This chakra allows you to read energy and understand the deeper meanings behind people, places, and events. Words and appearances can be misleading, but the energy sensed through the Third Eye is direct and clear. This chakra helps you to discern between what is real and what is illusion, empowering you to look beyond superficial judgments or fears.
When your Third Eye Chakra is in balance, you see the world with clarity and perspective, remaining calm even in uncertain situations. You step into the role of an observer, gathering wisdom and insight instead of becoming emotionally overwhelmed. With a strong Third Eye, you become more open to understanding situations as they truly are, appreciating the nuances and depth in yourselves and others.
Your Third Eye is also a powerful center for imagination, creativity, and manifestation. Everything you create in life begins as a vision in the mind’s eye, making this chakra the gateway to turning dreams into reality. When you activate third eye energy, you fuel your capacity to envision and bring your desires into focus. By connecting to this center, you tap into your own potential as creator, imagining new possibilities and paths for your future.
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.”
nikola tesla
Visualization exercises are a wonderful way to stimulate this chakra. By picturing your goals and dreams, you build mental pathways that make these visions more accessible and achievable. This practice also helps calm your mind and alleviate anxiety about the unknown, focusing your energy on what you wish to bring to life instead.
I like to say that worrying is using your imagination in reverse: it’s just as powerful, but it channels your focus in an unhelpful direction.
In addition to imagination, your third eye is also the seat of intuitive understanding. Many people experience psychic senses through this chakra, receiving insights in the form of “gut feelings,” inner knowing, or flashes of clarity. I call those “psychic hits.” This intuitive information, often referred to as the “sixth sense,” comes from a space beyond logic and analysis. When you learn to trust your Third Eye, you become more adept at navigating life based on your intuition, connecting you to the wisdom of your inner guidance.
A person with a developed third eye chakra is highly intuitive and typically a human lie detector. Even if this person doesn’t call you out, trust that they are taking notes and keeping score.
With a balanced Third Eye Chakra, you gain access to insights and “a-ha” moments that help you live with clarity and grace. Instead of feeling stuck or fearful of the future, you feel open to possibilities, able to see both the details and the bigger picture in each moment.
Maintaining a balanced Third Eye Chakra is about finding harmony between intuition and the physical world. You want to have a strong connection to your intuition, but you also want to be able to stay grounded in your day-to-day life. A balanced Third Eye Chakra allows you to have clarity of thought and to feel in touch with your life’s direction without becoming disconnected from practical matters.
Imagine this in a real-life scenario: You’re able to manage everyday responsibilities like paying bills and planning for the future while also having a sense of insight or intuitive nudges when interacting with people or making decisions. This balance allows you to live with one foot in each world, combining intuitive knowing with the grounded actions needed for a healthy, stable life.
When the Third Eye Chakra is balanced, you are also more aware of how it aligns with your lower chakras. Stability in your root chakra (your foundation and connection to security) and the openness of your heart chakra (your center of compassion and love) support the balanced energy of the Third Eye. When these lower chakras are stable and aligned, they help ground the insights from your Third Eye, keeping you from feeling overwhelmed by visions or ideas and helping you feel safe and centered in daily life.
Activating the Third Eye Chakra involves practices that quiet the mind and help you go within. Meditation, visualization, and spending time observing the world without judgment are all wonderful ways to awaken your third eye energy. You can also work with visual arts, journaling, or even mindful daydreaming to enhance your connection to this center. These practices support not only your intuition but also your creative potential.
Incorporating essential oils such as lavender, sandalwood, and frankincense during meditation can further support this energy center. These oils help to calm the mind, open your perception, and allow your Third Eye to gently open and expand.
Nourishing foods such as dark chocolate and omega-3-rich foods, like salmon, walnuts, and chia seeds, can support brain function and clarity. Purple foods—like grapes, blueberries, and eggplant—are also beneficial as they resonate with the Third Eye’s frequency and boost mental sharpness.
To help strengthen and balance this chakra, affirmations can be a helpful practice. Try these and make up your own:
Affirmations are a powerful tool for reshaping habits and forging new neural pathways in the brain, helping to create lasting change.
In these changing times, your Third Eye Chakra can be a valuable ally, guiding you with calm and clarity. When this chakra is balanced and the energy of the lower chakras is stable, you feel empowered to trust your intuition, tune into your inner wisdom, and approach life’s changes with greater ease. Even if the future seems unclear, know that your Third Eye Chakra is a source of vision, perspective, and purpose. Embrace this energy center, and let it help you bridge the gap between intuition and everyday life, so you can live more authentically and peacefully.

Today, as we wrap up our “Staying Aligned in Uncertain Times” series, we journey to the Crown Chakra. This seventh chakra, located at the top of your head, represents our connection to universal consciousness and the experience of unity. In these turbulent times, especially with the unexpected twists of the recent presidential election, we’re all feeling the weight of the unknown and the anxiety that accompanies it. That’s why today’s focus on the Crown Chakra feels so important. This is the chakra that reminds us of our connection to a larger, divine order and can guide us to a place of inner peace and acceptance, even when the world feels unpredictable.
The Crown Chakra is often described as a portal to enlightenment, moving us beyond the limits of ego, time, and space. When balanced, it connects us to an experience of cosmic oneness—a realization that everything and everyone is interconnected on a fundamental level. We experience life beyond the limits of our physical senses and intellect. Instead, we feel a deep, heart-centered awareness and inspiration, a sense of being guided by something greater than ourselves. When this chakra is open and activated, you may feel profound clarity, calm, and joy, as well as an intuitive understanding that there’s a higher purpose to the events unfolding in our lives.
Right now, in times of heightened uncertainty, tuning into this chakra is especially powerful. The Crown Chakra allows you to sense that, even if the world around you is chaotic, there’s a greater, divine wisdom at work. It can help alleviate the anxiety and fear that naturally arise with an unclear future by connecting you to the trust that you are a part of a larger plan and that things will unfold as they should.
“At the deepest level, we are all the same, and when we come to this realization, we can begin to open ourselves to the love and compassion that unite us all.”
dalai lama
At the level of the Crown Chakra, you begin to release the boundaries of the ego and tap into the understanding that we are all threads in a vast, interconnected web. This chakra offers you glimpses of a “universal identity”—a self that isn’t confined to individual roles or experiences but is part of the greater flow of life. Through this sense of unity, you’re able to let go of the constant need for control or for clear answers, recognizing instead the beauty of surrendering to what is.
I see humanity as a vast ocean, with each individual as a single droplet within it. We are all made of the same essence—each of us a unique expression of divine intelligence or God.
As humans, we have long sought ways to experience this transcendent oneness. Whether through meditation, prayer, music, or even moments in nature, we find ways to lift the veil of everyday concerns and experience this divine connection. And while we all strive to hold onto this feeling, remember that this experience ebbs and flows. The journey of the Crown Chakra isn’t about permanently escaping reality but about bringing this sense of divine alignment into our lives whenever possible.
Anxiety and fear are natural responses when life feels unpredictable, like during this divided election season and shifting global events. Your crown chakra helps by encouraging you to see beyond your immediate concerns, opening you to a wider perspective and reminding you that there’s an underlying order to existence, even if you can’t always see it.
When you find yourself gripped by anxiety or doubt, take a moment to tune into the energy of the Crown Chakra. Picture a gentle violet or white light at the top of your head, expanding and connecting you to a divine, unbreakable intelligence. Allow this light to calm your mind, helping you to release fear and replace it with a quiet faith in the path that lies ahead. With a balanced Crown Chakra, you become more resilient, able to face uncertainty from a place of peace rather than fear, trusting that you’re being guided toward what’s meant for you.
To connect more deeply with the energy of your crown chakra try incorporating practices that bring you into stillness and quiet the chatter of the mind:
You might also try using essential oils like frankincense, sandalwood, and palo santo to enhance your meditation practice, or enjoy the sensory benefits of foods like blueberries, lavender tea, or dark chocolate for a calming effect. For a more profound experience, you may also consider exploring psychedelics and other plant medicines, guided by a knowledgeable professional.
Here are some affirmations to use as you connect with your Crown Chakra. Speak these words slowly and mindfully, allowing them to settle into your consciousness:
By repeating these affirmations, you help train your mind to release attachments to specific outcomes and open to the flow of life as it unfolds.
When your Crown Chakra is balanced, it not only enhances your intuitive abilities but also brings you to a state of openness and acceptance of life’s mysteries. You find yourself less affected by the noise of fear or the need for certainty. Instead, you feel grounded in a quiet, inner wisdom that carries you forward, even when the path is unclear.
The Crown Chakra encourages you to appreciate the beauty and harmony that can be found in surrendering to the unknown. With a strong connection to the Crown Chakra, you experience the integration of your divinity and humanity… harmonizing spiritual insight with the practicalities of daily existence. And as you bring this sense of divine connection into your life, you naturally cultivate a presence that can bring peace and comfort to those around you as well.
Thank you for joining this journey through the chakras as we explored ways to stay aligned and grounded during turbulent times. In a world where fear and anxiety can feel overwhelming, the Crown Chakra reminds us that there’s a greater order to it all, and that we are always supported by a divine presence. Embrace this connection, hold on to this inner peace, and trust in the beautiful journey ahead.

Tarot is often shrouded in mystery, leaving many with a mix of curiosity and misunderstanding about what it truly represents. Even in today’s world, remnants of outdated beliefs continue to paint Tarot as “dangerous” or “evil.” Let’s debunk some of these myths, highlight how they’ve persisted, and embrace a modern understanding of Tarot as a powerful tool for growth, clarity, and connection.
One of the oldest misconceptions is that Tarot is inherently tied to witchcraft or dark magic. This view goes back centuries to a time when anything “unknown” or “spiritual” was feared. Tarot became tangled in this, especially during the age of witch hunts and burnings, where people—often women—were persecuted for their beliefs or practices. That old prejudice fostered lasting fear and ignorance, creating a strong bias against anything linked to “the unseen.”
But this is the 21st century. Time to break free from those outdated narratives! Tarot isn’t about controlling people or summoning powers. Instead, it’s a reflective practice that helps you access your inner wisdom. It’s time we celebrate our power, not fear it or give it away.
Another misconception is that Tarot is meant to manipulate or trick people. Some people view readers with suspicion, believing Tarot readers “tell people what they want to hear.” However, in reality, a well-conducted Tarot reading is more about guidance and self-awareness than any external control or manipulation. It’s about presenting options, sparking reflection, and empowering individuals to find their own path.
In my own experience, this bias has hit close to home. Some family members have distanced themselves from me because of my work with Tarot. Additionally, I’ve even been let go from contracts because of outdated fears surrounding the cards. But I’ve come to see this as a reflection of their own fears, not the truth of Tarot itself. As a result, I live by the Dr. Suess adage, “Those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.”
One of the most pervasive myths about Tarot is that it’s used to predict the future with certainty. While Tarot can offer guidance on potential outcomes based on current energies and choices, it’s not a crystal ball. Instead, Tarot provides a mirror for self-reflection, helping you navigate life’s uncertainties with more awareness and insight. Each card acts as a symbol, inviting you to consider where you are in the present moment and how you can influence your future by making empowered decisions.
A common misconception is that Tarot is connected to dark or negative forces, often because of its historical associations with the occult. Some people believe that Tarot invites bad energy or leads to spiritual harm. In reality, Tarot is a neutral tool—much like a mirror—reflecting what is already within you. How you approach the cards is what matters. Many Tarot readers use the cards as a spiritual practice for personal growth, healing, and empowerment. The intention behind the reading defines the energy that comes through.
“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.”
Joseph campbell
This myth can make Tarot seem inaccessible to beginners. While some Tarot readers use their psychic abilities to enhance readings, you don’t need to be psychic to use Tarot effectively. Tarot is a tool anyone can learn to use by studying the cards, practicing, and connecting with their intuition. Tarot helps you develop your intuitive abilities over time, and with consistent practice, you’ll start to recognize the symbols and messages that resonate with your own inner knowing.
There’s a belief that Tarot cards only work if they are given to you as a gift. While receiving a deck as a gift can be a special gesture, it’s not a requirement for reading Tarot. You can absolutely purchase your own deck! In fact, selecting a deck that resonates with you personally can create a stronger bond between you and the cards, making your readings more meaningful.
While Tarot can certainly be used for spiritual growth, deep reflection, and life-changing insights, it’s also versatile enough to explore lighter, everyday matters. You can use Tarot for creativity, decision-making, relationship guidance, or even just for fun. Some people draw daily cards to set an intention for their day or seek advice on small choices, like picking a new hobby or exploring personal interests.
Another myth is that Tarot readers can’t or shouldn’t read for themselves. Some people fear they’ll be too biased to interpret the cards accurately. While it’s true that objectivity can be tricky when reading for yourself, many Tarot readers find self-readings helpful for personal growth, reflection, and meditation. You can always seek out a trusted reader for more objective readings, but using Tarot for personal journaling and self-exploration is a powerful way to work with the cards.
Many people fear pulling “negative” cards like Death, The Tower, or The Devil, assuming these cards mean disaster or bad luck. However, Tarot isn’t about labeling situations as “good” or “bad.” Even cards that appear challenging at first glance carry important lessons about change, transformation, and growth. The Death card, for example, often signifies the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new chapter, symbolizing renewal and rebirth rather than literal death. Tarot encourages us to embrace both the light and shadow aspects of our lives.
Tarot is a tool that reflects our journey, our questions, and our inner wisdom. By understanding the myths that surround it, we can approach Tarot with an open mind and use it as a resource for self-awareness and empowerment. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned reader, Tarot offers endless possibilities for personal and spiritual exploration—and it’s anything but scary or limiting.
Tarot reflects the human condition and is used every day by ordinary people for personal guidance, meditation and intuition development. It’s a wonderful tool for self reflection, goal setting, healing, and self-improvement. Draw your own conclusions and know that fear is ignorance in disguise.

In our journeys through life, we often bump up against invisible walls, wondering why our dreams seem just out of reach. We put in the work, visualize the results, and stay consistent, yet the progress feels slow or stagnant. In many cases, these blocks aren’t external at all; they’re internal, hidden in the form of limiting beliefs. Identifying and releasing these beliefs is essential for aligning with the Universe’s flow, allowing abundance, love, and success to flow into our lives freely.
Limiting beliefs are unconscious assumptions or ideas we hold that restrict us from living to our fullest potential. They shape how we see the world, ourselves, and what’s possible for us. Often rooted in childhood, societal influences, or past experiences, these beliefs can feel like absolute truths, yet they don’t have to define us forever.
For example:
Each of these statements, though they may feel very real, is a perception – one that can change.
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
Wayne dyer
In the realm of manifestation, limiting beliefs can act as unseen barriers between our desires and their materialization. Universal laws, like the Law of Attraction, state that we attract what we believe. So, when we hold onto ideas of scarcity, unworthiness, or fear, we unknowingly create more situations that affirm these beliefs.
Imagine wanting financial abundance but secretly believing that money is hard to come by. Despite all the visualizing and affirmations, this underlying belief sends out a conflicting signal. It’s like planting seeds in soil that’s too rocky to grow anything – the foundation itself needs nurturing.
Here are some common ways to recognize that a limiting belief might be affecting you:
Do you feel stuck or frustrated when it comes to a certain area of life, no matter how hard you try? If you’re pushing toward a goal but feel like you’re treading water, it could be that a belief is counteracting your progress.
Are the same negative scenarios repeating? For instance, you keep attracting unavailable partners or jobs that don’t appreciate your talents. Repeating patterns can be the Universe’s way of showing that a limiting belief is in play.
Often, our intuition whispers when something is holding us back. If you have a lingering feeling that “something isn’t right,” or a persistent sense that “there’s more for me,” you may be brushing against a belief that it’s time to release.
Certain situations or topics can cause an outsized emotional reaction. For example, if you feel overly defensive or emotional about money, success, or self-worth, there may be a hidden belief about these areas that needs attention.
Limiting beliefs often lead us to act in ways that prevent us from achieving what we want. Procrastination, perfectionism, or giving up easily can be signs that a limiting belief is in play.
Pay close attention to the words you use and the stories you tell yourself and others. Do you often say, “I’m too busy for that,” “People always let me down,” or “I’m just not good with money”? These phrases may seem harmless, but they reveal the beliefs beneath the surface. Excuses, prejudices, and recurring “stories” can reinforce limiting beliefs and shape your reality, often without you realizing it. In the realm of manifestation, words have powerful energy, and the language you choose shapes the experiences you attract.
If you’re doing the inner work but visualizing your dreams feels forced or distant, there might be a hidden belief creating resistance. Authentic belief flows naturally; if it feels off, there may be a contradictory belief pulling against it.
Acknowledging limiting beliefs is a powerful first step toward freedom. Here are steps to dismantle them:
Take a moment to journal or meditate on the areas where you feel most blocked. Write down the negative thoughts or assumptions you hold about these areas. For instance, if you’re struggling with love, your belief might be, “I don’t deserve a committed partner.” Awareness is the first step toward transformation.
Once identified, question its validity. Is this belief absolutely true? Where did it come from? By dissecting the belief, you begin to see that it’s not a fact – it’s an idea you’ve adopted. Practicing this step regularly helps weaken the belief’s hold over time.
After questioning the old belief, choose a new, empowering belief that aligns with your desires. If the limiting belief was, “I’m not worthy of love,” replace it with, “I am deeply deserving of unconditional love.” Repeat this new belief as an affirmation daily to rewire your subconscious mind.
Visualize yourself living the reality where your new belief is true. Picture yourself feeling loved, accepted, and abundant. Imagine how you’d feel, what you’d do, and how you’d act. Visualization is a powerful way to start shifting your vibration to match your new belief.
Taking small, inspired actions can solidify a new belief. If you’re replacing a limiting belief about money, take actions that show your belief in abundance, such as donating a small amount to charity or investing in yourself. Action is a statement to the Universe that you’re serious about this new path.
One of the most transformative tools is Imagitation, which combines imagination with meditation. Here, imagine yourself living as your most empowered self, with your new belief fully integrated. Visualize specific scenes that embody your ideal life, allowing yourself to feel the emotions as if it’s happening now. This “preview” brings your desired reality closer to the present, making it feel both familiar and attainable.
The process of uncovering and releasing limiting beliefs is not always instant. It’s an unfolding, a dance with the Universe where you align with its gentle, supportive guidance. When you take these steps, you’ll notice the energetic shifts within and around you – opportunities will appear, synchronicities will increase, and life will seem to flow with greater ease.
Remember, the Universe is always in support of your highest path, sending you signs, nudges, and insights to guide you toward what’s possible. When you align with your true self, free from the grip of limiting beliefs, you become a magnet for your deepest desires.
So, trust the journey, celebrate the small wins, and know that each limiting belief released is a powerful step toward manifesting a life filled with boundless possibilities. The path to freedom begins within.
Do you ever feel like you’re searching for answers but can’t quite seem to find them? Maybe you’ve felt stuck, unsure which direction to take, or confused by life’s big decisions. That’s where Tarot can step in. More than just a deck of cards, Tarot is a powerful tool that helps you tap into your intuition, connect with your inner wisdom, and gain the clarity you’ve been seeking. It’s not about predicting the future—it’s about guiding you toward the right path and helping you understand what’s going on beneath the surface.
In this post, we’ll dive into how Tarot can help you unlock your intuition and find clarity in your life.
Intuition is that inner voice, the gut feeling you have when something just feels right (or wrong). It’s your natural ability to understand things without needing logic or reason. We all have it, but sometimes life’s noise—our fears, doubts, and worries—gets in the way of hearing it. Tarot helps to quiet that noise and bring your intuition to the forefront.
“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant.”
Albert Einstein
When you work with Tarot, you’re not just looking at the cards—you’re looking inward. The images and symbols on each Tarot card act like mirrors, reflecting back parts of your subconscious mind that you may not be fully aware of. As you interpret the cards, you begin to notice feelings, thoughts, or insights bubbling up that guide you to your inner truth.
If you’ve ever experienced a Tarot reading, you know that moment when just the right cards show up, and it feels like they’re speaking directly to your soul. That uncanny feeling of alignment, where the cards seem to know more than you do, is part of the deep connection Tarot has with your intuition. It’s as though the universe itself is lending you a helping hand, guiding you to the insights you need most.
Let’s explore how Tarot taps into your intuition and why the cards seem to “magically” align with your current situation, bringing you clarity and confidence.
Tarot invites you to pause, reflect, and tune into what’s really going on. Each card tells a story, and as you work with them, you’re encouraged to ask yourself deeper questions: What does this card mean to me? How does it connect to my current situation? What feelings does it bring up? This process of reflection opens up a space for your intuition to surface. The more you practice, the stronger your intuitive abilities become.
Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming when you can’t see the bigger picture. Tarot helps by revealing patterns in your life, whether in relationships, career, or personal growth. When you pull a series of cards, they may point to recurring themes or cycles you hadn’t noticed before. This awareness helps you make sense of your experiences and gives you the clarity to break free from unhelpful patterns.
For instance, if you keep pulling cards like The Tower (signaling sudden change) or The Devil (representing unhealthy attachments), it could indicate that there’s something in your life you need to release. Recognizing these patterns allows your intuition to guide you toward the steps for change.
Tarot speaks the language of symbols and archetypes—universal images that resonate on a deep, subconscious level. When you work with these images, you’re connecting with parts of yourself that are usually hidden beneath the surface. Your conscious mind may not have the answers, but your subconscious does, and Tarot helps you access that wisdom.
For example, The High Priestess card is all about intuition, mystery, and hidden knowledge. When this card appears, it could be urging you to trust your gut or pay attention to the signs your inner wisdom is sending you.
One of the most magical things about Tarot is how the right cards show up at the right time. You could be thinking about a decision and, suddenly, The Lovers or The Two of Swords appears, perfectly representing your dilemma. Or maybe you’re uncertain about a career change, and The Ace of Pentacles comes up, symbolizing new opportunities and growth.
There’s something undeniably mystical about Tarot—the way the cards align, the feelings they evoke, and the connection they foster with your intuition. Yes, it may feel a little “woo” at times, but that’s part of the magic. Tarot allows you to step into a space where logic steps aside, and intuition leads the way.
Now that you know how Tarot helps unlock your intuition, let’s explore how it can also bring clarity to your decisions. When you feel lost or confused, Tarot offers a fresh perspective and helps you see things from a new angle.
Tarot works best when you ask open-ended questions. Instead of asking yes-or-no questions, like “Will I get the job?”, focus on questions that encourage deeper exploration, such as “What do I need to know about this opportunity?” or “What steps can I take to improve my career situation?” This invites guidance, not just a prediction, helping you see what needs attention for better clarity.
Tarot can shift your viewpoint, highlighting things you may have missed or helping you consider options you hadn’t thought of. For example, if you’re stuck in a relationship and The Lovers card appears, it may remind you to focus on communication. If The Hanged Man shows up, it could suggest you need to release control and see things from a different angle to move forward.
Our emotions often pull us in different directions, leading to confusion. Tarot helps you untangle those feelings by representing various energies. If you’re feeling anxious about a decision, and The Moon appears, it may point to fear or illusion. Tarot helps you see your emotions more clearly, guiding you to greater peace of mind.
If you’re ready to use Tarot for personal guidance, here are some tips to get started:
Tarot is more than a fortune-telling tool—it’s a way to connect with your intuition, gain clarity in life’s challenges, and discover insights into your personal journey. By reflecting on the cards and exploring their messages, you unlock your own inner wisdom, navigating life’s twists with more confidence.
Remember, the answers you seek are already within you. Tarot simply helps you hear them more clearly.
Trust your inner brilliance.

The Third Eye Chakra, also known as the Ajna Chakra, is one of the most powerful and mysterious energy centers in the human body. Situated between the eyebrows and linked to the pineal gland in the brain, this chakra serves as the gateway to higher consciousness, intuition, and spiritual insight. As the first topic in our Psychic School series, we begin with the Third Eye Chakra to prepare the path of inner vision and set the foundation for the entire psychic journey.
Activating and understanding this chakra is crucial because it opens the door to perceiving the unseen, guiding us beyond the physical world into the realms of intuition, clairvoyance, and spiritual wisdom. Often depicted as an indigo-colored, two-petaled lotus, the Third Eye is not just a symbol but a vital element in the journey of self-discovery and psychic awakening.
By exploring the Third Eye Chakra at the start, we lay the groundwork for all that follows in your psychic development. This energy center connects us to our inner wisdom and allows us to trust what we sense, feel, and intuitively know—key skills that will be built upon in future lessons.
The Third Eye Chakra is often called the “seat of inner vision” because it governs our ability to see beyond the physical realm. Unlike the eyes that perceive the external world, the Third Eye is connected to our internal vision, offering glimpses of the unseen, the abstract, and the spiritual. It is responsible for our intuition, clairvoyance, imagination, and the profound wisdom that goes beyond logical reasoning.
For centuries, mystics, sages, and healers have revered the Third Eye as a source of enlightenment and divine insight. This energy center enables us to connect with our higher selves, tap into universal consciousness, and access knowledge that transcends time and space. Through the activation of the Third Eye, we can perceive subtle energies, receive psychic impressions, and navigate our lives with a deeper sense of purpose and understanding.
The Third Eye Chakra is intimately connected with the pineal gland, a tiny pinecone-shaped organ nestled deep within the brain. Often called the “seat of the soul,” the pineal gland plays a pivotal role in regulating sleep, dreams, and the body’s circadian rhythms. But beyond its biological functions, it is believed to be a physical manifestation of our spiritual Third Eye.
In many ancient cultures, the pineal gland was recognized as the center of spiritual awakening and psychic vision. Its ability to produce melatonin, the hormone that regulates sleep, is thought to be a doorway into altered states of consciousness and the dream world. It is in these states that the veil between the physical and spiritual realms becomes thin, allowing us to access intuitive insights, messages from the higher self, and spiritual guidance.
Modern science is beginning to explore the pineal gland’s role in human consciousness, and while much remains a mystery, there is growing evidence that this small gland holds a key to unlocking the deeper layers of our psyche. When the Third Eye Chakra is balanced and open, the pineal gland can become a powerful tool for experiencing higher states of awareness.
While the Third Eye Chakra holds immense potential, it can also be a source of challenge if it becomes blocked or overactive. A blocked Third Eye may manifest as a lack of direction, confusion, difficulty making decisions, or feeling disconnected from intuition. On the other hand, an overactive Third Eye can lead to an overwhelming influx of psychic information, vivid dreams, or a tendency to get lost in fantasy.
Balancing the Third Eye Chakra is essential for maintaining harmony in our psychic and spiritual lives. It requires nurturing our inner vision, trusting our intuitive voice, and embracing both the mystical and practical aspects of our journey.
The power of the Third Eye Chakra lies not just in its ability to perceive the unseen but in its capacity to connect us to our deepest truths. It is through this inner vision that we find clarity, purpose, and the courage to walk our spiritual path with open eyes and an open heart. Whether you are just beginning to explore your psychic abilities or are deep into your spiritual practice, the Third Eye Chakra is a vital ally on your journey to awakening.
As you continue to develop this powerful energy center, remember that the Third Eye is not just about seeing—it’s about knowing. It’s about trusting the subtle whispers of your soul and embracing the unseen forces that guide you. Through the Third Eye, we glimpse the infinite possibilities of our existence and step into a life of deeper meaning, insight, and connection.
As we’ve explored, the Third Eye Chakra is the gateway to inner vision, intuition, and deeper spiritual awareness. Now it’s time to take this understanding to the next level with a powerful activation! Join us this Thursday at 2 PM for a part two where we’ll guide you through a Third Eye activation to awaken your psychic senses and enhance your inner vision. This is your opportunity to experience the magic of your Third Eye firsthand and begin aligning with your highest potential. Don’t miss out—let’s open the door to your intuitive power together!
Imagitation is one of my favorite practices—a blend of imagination and meditation that takes a proactive, Western approach to traditional meditation techniques. It’s not about clearing the mind or sitting in stillness; it’s about using the vibrant, creative energy of your imagination to craft the life you desire. This practice is the foundation of manifesting anything because imagination is the portal to all things manifested.
Albert Einstein famously said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.” In Imagitation, you harness this boundless power of your imagination to create the reality you wish to experience. It’s not just daydreaming; it’s intentional, purposeful, and transformative.
When you engage in Imagitation, you are not passively waiting for things to happen. Instead, you actively participate in the creation process. You visualize what you want with vivid detail, feel the emotions associated with it, and mentally step into the experience as though it’s already real. This proactive engagement sets Imagitation apart from traditional meditation practices, which often focus on clearing the mind rather than filling it with vibrant visions.
Wayne Dyer, a renowned self-help author, once said, “You’ll see it when you believe it.” This statement encapsulates the core of Imagitation: belief, backed by imagination, is a powerful force. Neuroscience supports this idea, showing that the brain does not distinguish much between an imagined experience and a real one. When you visualize an outcome with enough detail and emotional intensity, your brain activates the same neural pathways as if you were actually experiencing it.
This is why Imagitation works so well for manifesting your desires. It primes your brain to recognize opportunities, shift your mindset, and align your actions with your intentions. Essentially, you are reprogramming your subconscious mind to focus on what you want, not on what you lack.
Neville Goddard, a mystic and teacher of the power of imagination, taught that “Imagination creates reality.” This quote gets to the heart of why Imagitation is so powerful: your inner world shapes your outer world. In every moment of Imagitation, you are tapping into a spiritual practice that aligns your highest desires with the energetic flow of the universe.
Rather than meditating to empty the mind, Imagitation invites you to fill it with possibilities, dreams, and the feeling of already having what you desire. You become the architect of your life, designing each aspect with clarity and joy. This isn’t about escaping reality; it’s about creating a new one that aligns with your truest self.
Imagitation doesn’t need to be a long, drawn-out process. Even spending a few minutes each day can be transformative. You can practice it while sipping your morning coffee, during a walk in nature, or right before drifting off to sleep. The key is consistency and the willingness to fully immerse yourself in the experience.
As you continue this practice, you’ll notice shifts in your perspective, opportunities aligning, and synchronicities occurring. The more you nurture your imagination, the more you’ll see it reflected in your life. Remember, you are the creator of your reality, and through Imagitation, you hold the brush to paint your masterpiece.
In the words of Einstein, Dyer, and Goddard, let your imagination lead the way. It’s not just a tool; it’s the portal to all things possible. Happy Imagitating!

Let’s explore seven signs that indicate you’re tapping into a deeper, intuitive part of yourself.
You’re feeling more sensitive to the energy around you, whether it’s the emotions of others, changes in your environment, or even subtle shifts in the atmosphere. This heightened sensitivity is your intuition becoming more attuned.
Your dreams have become more vivid and meaningful, or you’re experiencing spontaneous visions during meditation or quiet moments. These are messages from your subconscious or spirit helpers, guiding you on your path.
You’re noticing an increase in meaningful coincidences, like seeing the same numbers, hearing the same song, or meeting people who seem to appear just when you need them. These signs and synchronicities are the universe’s way of communicating with you.
You might find yourself experiencing waves of intense emotions or sudden emotional releases. This is your body’s way of clearing old energy and making space for new, higher vibrations.
You’re starting to trust your inner voice more, experiencing moments of deep inner knowing or gut feelings that turn out to be accurate. This is your psychic intuition guiding you in the right direction.
You feel drawn to spiritual practices like meditation, Tarot, energy healing, or other mystical arts. This attraction is a sign that you’re opening up to your spiritual gifts and abilities.
You’re beginning to see the world in a new light, feeling more connected to the universe, and experiencing a shift in your consciousness. This awareness is a clear indicator of a psychic awakening.
As you embrace your psychic awakening, remember that you are guided, protected, and supported by the universe. Trust in your abilities and allow your intuition to lead the way.
