Is our personality based on nature or nurture? Are people inherently good, neutral, or evil? Well, the Bible states as we come into this world, we are spiritually dead. However, as we explore more into our series of “Identity”, we can find redemption through His blood. We can have confidence in the fact that we are chosen because we are Children of God. 

Have you ever wondered where you truly belong? As we continue our series of “Identity”, the book of Hebrews explains that we are just sojourners on earth. However, as we deepen our understanding of identity, we can realize that as citizens of heaven, our home is in heaven. 

Society often elaborates on marriage as the most significant of a human relationship. What does the scripture say about marriage? While the Bible holds this true, it also states that marriage is a physical picture that points forward our spiritual union with Christ. In this sermon we look at John 15 and see how we abide in God’s love through abiding in God’s word.

When we think of the word “worship,” our minds often intrinsically correlate it with the word “music.” While this is partially true, scripture describes the essence of “worship” as acknowledging something worth. As we continue in our series of “Intimacy,” this sermon will look into the book of Romans which teaches us that the discipline of worship allows us to pursue deeper intimacy with God, and that our worship of God is rooted in our understanding the worth of God.
