A very different kind of Aberration, and a really fun battlefield controller! This creature coupled with the right retinue could really messed a part’s day up!
Homebrew & Strategy: After a little more investigation and the help of the Pathfinder 2e Reddit community in this post we found there are lots of creatures immune the Sickened condition, the vast majority of which are Constructs! So, we weren’t too far off :PThanks to Ace Lee and TV's Michael Robert Bernard for voicing the intro!AoN Search Filter: https://2e.aonprd.com/Creatures.aspx?q=immunity%3Asickened&type=eqs&sort=name-asc&display=table&columns=creature_family+source+rarity+size+alignment+trait+level+hp+ac+fortitude+reflex+will+perception+sense+speedTimestampsIntro: 0:00Pathfinder Lore: 05:01Pop Culture: 18:17Mechanics: 42:29Homebrew: 1:24:00Outro: 1:28:10Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/unchartednorthWebsite: https://www.unchartednorth.ca/Show Notes: https://www.unchartednorth.ca/shownotesMerch: https://unchartednorth.com/shopDiscord: https://unchartednorth.com/discordTwitter: https://twitter.com/encounterpodInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/unchertednoSFX by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.comTheme Song “Undaunted" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/1 hr 35 min - 115 Death Coach ft. 1 hr 33 min - 110 Nixie
As a thanks to her longtime dedication to our cause we asked listener peace-joy-pancakes to pick a second creature (you may remember she gave us the Jorogumo in the TTRPG 13th Age)! She’s supported us for years now and we very much appreciate her fandom. It’s a great joy to talk with her regular in our public Discord!
Nixie was a really fun one, and quite in depth. A lot of information hit the cutting room floor on this one as the folklore inspirations for this creature reach far and wide! Buckle up for another fickle Fey!
