Welcome to Sunday Online at Encounter Vineyard.
If you are joining us for the first time, a very warm welcome to you, if you regularly join with us online, thank you for travelling with us as a church, where together we seek to follow the ‘Way of Jesus.’
This Sunday we are continuing our series ‘Navigating Uncertainties’ where we are exploring how we can be equipped for what is unknown and what is unexpected in our lives as we look at various characters from the Old Testament.
Over the last few Sundays, we have looked at the themes of ‘faith and uncertainty, future orientation, reconciliation and forgiveness and the challenge of culture by looking at the characters Abraham, Ruth, Joseph and Daniel.
Today we have a message called ‘Trusting God.’ We may not have dragons on maps anymore but our fear over the unknown remains. Often it feels like God is delayed and we can become frustrated when things don’t happen on our timeline or when control slips from our grasp. Mark will talk through the story of Joshua, and how we can learn to trust God even amid threat and fear and lean into God’s promises in the process
We hope that you enjoy worshipping and celebrating with us and we pray that today would be a blessing for us all.
