Today is Father’s Day here in the UK and we will be celebrating all the Men in the church building today. This Sunday also sees us continue our new series ‘Awaken.’ A series where we are digging into Jesus’ last conversation with His disciples in an Upper Room. We are exploring the secret to flourishing in life and what it means to ‘abide in Him’ and as we do, how we can bear lasting fruit.

Today Mark is speaking with a message called ‘Making a Difference.’ This message explores how we can carry hope, have influence and make a difference. It is for those who know what it is to lose their peace and purpose…As well as for others who long to leave a legacy.

Today Mark is speaking with a message called ‘Lasting Hope.’ A message that looks at how we can bring lasting hope to those who feel that they are in impossible sitiuations, as well as others who are locked into cycles of fear or anxiety, as well as lacking joy in life. Pentecost is this season where we celebrate the gift of God’s presence through His Spirit being poured out on the early followers of Jesus while they were in Jerusalem, waiting for that which Jesus had promised them. Today, Karen continues to explore what this means for us as she brings a message called ‘Now What?’

We all know what it is like to have let others down and we have all done things that we regret. We have caused others pain, intentionally or unintentionally.  Often our future can feel tarnished by what has happened in our past or present. Today, Mark brings a message called ‘Forgive Us’ as he looks at the line, 'Forgive us our sins as we forgive those that sin against us'

Over the last two Sundays Mark has looked at the beginning of this powerful prayer, looking at how we communicate with our Heavenly Father and then looking at what it means to pray “your kingdom come.”

Today we have Trevor Tinlin speaking and bringing a message called ‘Give us today ...’ as he considers what it might mean for us to increasingly depend on God, both in the good times and the challenging times.
