Hello Hivers! Here's the @encouragement project from the @aliento's team!

Today we'll learn how to install a new wallet developed by the @peak.open team through a short video made by @dimeilaz. This might be a tutorial for more advanced users, but we thought that it would be nice to show this upcoming tool to the community.

[Peak Vault](https://peakd.com/hive-139531/@peak.open/announcing-the-development-of-peak-vault) is an alternative to Hive Keychain. It is under development, this is actually a beta version, but it has similar characteristics. At the moment, you can log in with the Peak Vault wallet at https://beta.hivehub.dev/.

If you want to know a little bit more about this new tool, you can go to [this link](https://peakd.com/hive-139531/@peakd/peak-vault-and-metamask-snap-proposal-two-new-wallets-for-hive) and read the proposal created by the @peakd team where they explain everything pretty clear.

For this tutorial, we will be using the [Peak Vault main page](https://vault.peakd.com/), the idea is quite simple, just play the video and follow the steps to make everything as easy as possible.

If you have questions about this topic or any other topic about the @aliento project or you want to give feedback about this tutorial, make a tutorial request about something particular, etc, please leave us a comment in the comment box of the video.

Hello Hivers! Here's the @encouragement project, from the @aliento's team!

Today we'll learn how to install the [Hive Keychain](https://hive-keychain.com/) browser extension and configure our Hive Keychain account through a short video made by @dimeilaz.

If you're using a smartphone instead of a PC/Laptop, then take a look at the next section of this post:

---------

https://images.hive.blog/50x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/encouragement/AK6W4G5wfsNYMvHKh5cwVwajMEtMGPpnhkvG2C4YJGvNvqhYfEJmXrVbFVZH2pQ.png How to install Hive Keychain on a Smartphone https://images.hive.blog/50x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/encouragement/AK6W4G5wfsNYMvHKh5cwVwajMEtMGPpnhkvG2C4YJGvNvqhYfEJmXrVbFVZH2pQ.png

To install the Hive Keychain, we have to follow some concrete steps that are not very complicated, so let's get started!

type "Hive Keychain" on the search barpress the "install" button

wait for the app to get installed

After installing the app, you will see a home screen on the smartphone that will tell you the following:

The idea when installing the application is that you already have a Hive account created to associate it with, so let's press the “Existing Account” button.

When you start using the keychain, you will be asked for a numeric password, similar to a PIN to unlock the keychain each time you want to use it.

The app will ask you to enter the password twice to verify it.

After setting our password, the Hive Keychain will prompt us for a username and password, we will use our master password to bring all the keys associated with our account.

When we create our Hive account, we receive a document like the one in the image above, so, let's copy the key that says “password”.

Then, we will use our username for the top field and the master password in the bottom field, then we will press the “Import” button.

After this step, the Hive Keychain will ask us if we want to see a short tutorial on how to use it, we can choose to skip it or we can watch the whole tutorial and it will take us to a special window.

And once we have finished everything correctly we will see something like this:

In this interface we can see everything associated with our account, our user, our liquid crypto (HIVE, HBD), our stake (Hive Power - HP), among others.

We hope this tutorial has been very useful and soon we will bring a new part to explain how to use the keychain for other particular things.

Hello to the whole Hive Blockchain; here's the @encouragement project from the @aliento witness to you!

Today we bring you a video on @threespeak to explain a little of what this account and this project is all about, as well as to show you the team behind it all.

We want to activate this account not only for content curation purposes but also to provide important and extremely useful material for users of the Hive blockchain, regardless of whether they are new or have been here for a while.

And the most important part of all is the feedback from the community, we want people who are not part of the Hispanic community to also be part of Aliento, that's why we bring you this project.
